who doesn't like free money! I'm unsure how the claims handled since this was just settled last week.

"In February 2015, several people filed a lawsuit against Nvidia, Gigabyte, Asus and EVGA over the inaccuracy of the specs of the GeForce GTX 970. Yesterday, the case was settled, and even though the four companies didn’t admit liability, those who file a valid claim for their GTX 970 GPU will receive a $30 cash payment.

The original lawsuit claimed that Nvidia, as well as the other three companies, posted false specs for the GPU. The advertised specs for the GTX 970 had 4 GB of VRAM, 64 render output processors (ROP) and an L2 cache of 2.048 MB. The lawsuit claimed that card actually had 3.5 GB of VRAM, 56 ROPs and an L2 cache of 1.792 MB.

In terms of the settlement, the companies will “make a cash payment of $30 per GTX 970 unit to Settlement Class Members who submit valid claims, with no cap.”

The settlement cost of $30 was calculated because the average retail price of the GTX 970 is $350 and the cash payment would represent 8.6 percent of the purchase price. That percentage was reached by a measurement of one of the lawsuit’s major claims — that GTX 970 users had 3.5 GB of VRAM instead of the advertised 4 GB. That 0.5 GB discrepancy was calculated as 12.5 percent of the total advertised VRAM. If the case proceeded to the trial stage and the companies lost, the settlement cost would have been $43.75, or 12.5 percent of the $350 average retail price. Because the case never went to trial, and the four companies opted to settle, the $30 represented 70 percent of the original $43.75 settlement cost if the defendants lost the trial.

With a “no cap” settlement, it’s unclear how much Nvidia, Gigabyte, Asus and EVGA have to pay back to their customers that bought the GTX 970. The number of customers undoubtedly grew over the past few months with the GTX 970 considered to be the minimum requirement for a computer to run virtual reality devices such as the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. If the settlement is approved, the defendants have to notify customers by October 23. Those affected will have to submit a claim by December 21 in order to get compensation."

i tried making a few solo instances in tofs which cost 300k but kept saying i didn't have enough until i put 600k on the character at which point it took the 300k and made the instance.

As people searching for GSOAs can tell you, when the rare #s get that rare... really, REALLY strange shiz can happen. I've had 8 hr camps where i had like 5 Tserinnas total (and i jump like 4-6 instances and zonepull lol).

I've had that first bat - spawn tser - spawn Svart thing happen twice in the last month too. It is hard to make heads or tails of it. I prefer the tinfoil hat superstition strat.

Fresh instance creations, delete and remakes, etc. I can get skunked for 6 hours, Zexan logs online.. /gu 'Yo Zex! mind firing me a couple more tofs?'

20 min later, 'Want a Ninja clicker?'. Obviously the LAST thing you try spawns him, since you don't keep looking. But a lifetime of t7/t5 farming has taught me that some instances are just effing cursed.. And theres some you cry when they expire cuz they were so good to you lol.

i couldn't agree more, that's why i'm very hesitant in thinking that the spawn is in fact broken because the same thing has happened to me various times. Ill probably get back to blasting Tes runs this weekend, i reeeeeealy want my UW finished before t10 comes out!

i would say 1% is fairly accurate to my experiences this weekend and nowhere near the rate at which i spawned her previously and i've successfully spawned Svart ~10 or so times for my 3 UWs to put things into perspective as to how much i've done this camp. Hell i actually had more tes spawns when i was banging my head against the bugged spawn back in March which was later confirmed by hate the same week to be well under 1%, i copied that post below for reference.

Akkadius mentioned something that caught my eye and found a copy/paste error. All NEW instances from ~2min ago should spawn Tserrina. The issue was an accidental addition of the random chance, effectively increasing the chance of Tserrina to be 20-30x more rare.

with all that said RNG is RNG and i know better then to not exclude bad luck out of the list of possibilities

heh even solo xp runs in anguish is pretty much a chore at this point, its doable but takes twice as long to finish a run.

i personally wouldn't even be mad if dbl loot & Halloween was scraped until at least the weekend when aka can get his hands on things. until then its just encouraging people to bang their heads against the wall in order to get the most out of the Halloween event and dbl loot, not a fun experience.

i think a lot of it has to do with warriors avoidance being super wonky right now, i take shit-loads of damage in t9 now compared to before due to having almost no noticeable avoidance. A nice side effect of this is its putting warrior dps through the roof because of the mass amounts of ripostes being done which i think also got buffed through more aa? its actually hilarious when you use furious disc....

also black priest seemed messed up for me last night, spawned the event twice and each time only his wandering eyes spawned, seemed to be ok a few days ago.

i didnt have much time to mess around but from the limited time i did have, the only issue i had was my cleric/druid specialization skills resetting after casting your first spell after logging in.

chromatic shield buff from uw aug overwriting mof & ig familliar buffs as well

found another special item out of the T7 mini that ive never seen before, figured u would want it added to the wiki. This one must be ultra rare because ive got about 8-9 of the jewelers candlelight and only 1 of these.

Chromatic Shield IV has been in the same boat as the ultimate protection IV aug where rank 3 gives the same amount as rank 4. Hardly a big deal since the aug really isn't that great in the first place but figured id throw this out there anyways.

Found 1 more weapon skin that is missing from the list, a T8 special int staff!

Mistress of the Sea is missing from the list, the Special weapon skin from Abyss. Clueless as to what the focus effect actually does.
