berserkers are about 2h. At least in live. Personally I always saw them as dual weilding 2h's and going berserk.

I agree with the 2h part, but with the fighters guild giving them the ability to dual wield one handers and the vendor offering the 1h alternative, it could be a viable choice. Like I mentioned before something like a frenzy proc effect would be nice on the epics triggering at a higher than normal rate (not too high) with the possibility of damage augs as well.

I would still like to see some form of an upgrade to Destroyer's Volley to be on par with epic damage output as well.

Been thinking about them for a bit, I noticed from the epic vendor that they can turn in their epic for a 1 hander version; not sure if this was intentional or not but why not let them dual wield their epics if their main role as dps is an issue? Also maybe allow their epics to proc Frenzy in a similar fashion to how Paladins and SKs got proc rates boosted but not quite as high maybe half of what they do or proc more often with higher epics. I think someone also mentioned weapons cap out at 255 or something, if that's the case why not add bonus damage or some sort of elemental damage like fire damage +25 or something? Just trying to throw out some ideas and see what people think.

Also would it be possible for berserkers to get a viable upgrade to Destroyer's Volley or have it scale in some fashion? It's nice that it doesn't need the axes but the damage is based on those particular axes.

Going to reiterate what I said in a previous post on another thread:

Open up a couple more zones were everything in the zone has a chance to drop pieces from either the CG or FG quests. Keep the pieces lore and no drop to prevent people from pulling the entire zone and killing everything for themselves just to sell looting rights. I'm sure people will still do it but they will be limited to the number of alts they have instead of stockpiling their bags. Droprate should be reasonable in which it won't take days to complete, maybe 1-2 random pieces can drop off trash and named mobs can drop up to 4 pieces; with this idea it could also open up another exp zone or two like poearth, potactics or even another expansion zone where the mobs will yield some exp but also be reasonable for new players to kill.

The other option I was thinking was make it a quest, not a long quest but challenging where player has to do it solo without outside buffs (or the complete opposite). Similar to a trial or a mini epic quest - beat it and be rewarded.

Why not make the items drop in more than one zone?

There's so many unused zones to choose from and it probably wouldn't be that hard to have an extra 3-5 zones dropping the quest pieces. Instead these pieces can be made nodrop to prevent trading but every piece required from the both guild quests could randomly drop off any mob in these zones.

The other alternative I can think of is have a series of trials that they must complete solo and no buffs. Once you pass the trials, you're in.
