I had it for a while a few years back when I still played on live.

It was terrible.

No other way to describe it, I was in a high end raiding guild and was more of a liability to the group than an asset.  To much lag, I remember a specific instance when we were taking down a boss.  On my screen it was shwowing the mob at 15% life, but the chat channels which didnt seem to lag as much as the rest of the game showed the guild leaders already calling out the loot for the killed boss.

I am a very casual player who is working my way through qvic/tacvi right now.... I have a 5 box and I cant even guess how many times I have ran through Qvic and I am still missing armor pieces on 3 of my 5 toons...   If it gets worse the farther I go I cant imagine continuing to progress.

I was excited to hear there is a rot bot in podragons... Gives me some hope that it wont take months for me to progress through it like qvic has.

If that was to change I would probably not play any longer.

Hell, I wish a rot bot was in QVIC, I was considering picking up one more char for a full group and the idea of running through Qvic 50 more times just to get him his armor depresses me greatly

For now I am upgrading the ram to see if that makes a noticeable difference.

If I am still not where I want to be, I think I may just build a new machine.

Another fun story... it was kind of an exploit at the time but it was fun.

Used to play on RZ and shortly after Kunark came out me and a few friends were screwing around with the new iksar race. (remember they had that advanced innate regen).  Anyhowmy roommate at the time had an enchanter.  So one day my iksar warrior goes LD and my rommate decided to try and try and charm me, it worked.  And seeing how we were on a pvp server we decided to see how long it would stick.  It seemed to last a while and we could contiune to keep the person charmed.  This turned into quite the pvp strategy.

With the iksars regen, we were able to dominate lake of ill omen for like a week straight killing people left and right before it was finally fixed.

I know it sounds bad now... but at the time it was a lot of fun lol

Does this mean my motherboard would not be able to handle ddr3-1600 ram?

What would you suggest? a new mother board and cpu and video card? or just upgrade the video card and go wth the cpu and mb I currently have?

well upgrading ur cpu is limited to what ur montherboard supports so it might not be able to handle the I7 you have to figure out whats the best CPU for that MB

I actually thought about that shortly after I posted this... My mother board is an Asus P5B Deluxe... really not sure how advanced of a cpu it could handle.

I am considering upgrading my video card soon and was wondering if anyone had suggestions on a good card to buy where I would get a good card at a decent price.

I currently use a ATI Radeon x1900 card.  I am looking for a card that would be good for gaming... (EQ and other gamer games)
