Funkin, Any way you could enlighten me on the way to join the crafter's guild? I have wanted to do it, but it seems so detailed. I don't quite understand how to achieve it in a relatively short time span. Thanks in advance for helping me (and others).

You could also level some other toons. Even if all you did was level a druid or shaman, then you could start roa which would give your tank help. LDON on level 6 is tough. I will do 1.5 for someone because pot is easy and quick. Ldon, takes too much time. If your computer can handle more toons, you will proceed much faster. MQ2 is a program used to box your toons. It lowers the demand on your computer and helps you switch from one toon to another, and it has the stick command which keeps toons together, which is a big deal in LDON. Good luck!

On EZ, getting to level 70 doesn't take long and maxing AA's doesn't either. So if you are running a melee character, you will be getting all the possible avoidance and mitigation that is possible. Toons here get about as strong as is possible, and one toon can solo the areas from the original game that it took over 30 toons to handle. So, just level your character, get AA's and upgrades on weapons and soon you will be a killing machine. A level 70 sk or palading with 3.0 weapons can handle most level appropriate content and a warrior with two 4.0 swords can solo in Qvic with the right armor and charms. I don't know if that answers your questions but a lot of the guess work it taken out by just leveling and getting AA's and the best gear that you can.

EQ pre-Kunark was the most fun I had, but that might have been because no one knew what they were doing really. No one knew where to hunt or really how to maximize classes. When my guild was first trying Naflgen we sent everyone in and told them to run out for heals as needed. Needless to say we wiped. A LOT! But EZ has the right time/reward balance, so that even though it is about as grindy as EQ was, there is a real satisfaction in the power that toons get. I have only been here for a year or so, but I sure haven't lost my enjoyment.

General Category / General Discussion / Making t4 armor

I have finished Qvic and am done with POD. I have been farming in Hoh for pages and tokens to spawn mobs in Airplane. After killing a mob I have a t4 armor mold. How do I turn that into upgraded armor? Do I put it in the magical box with my old armor? Do I hand it to a npc with the mold and the old armor? Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Amen to the pants issue! I have three toons with no pants. I can handle qvic no problem, and so the challenge now is showing the patience to wait for three pairs of pants to drop.

General Category / General Discussion / Help with Underfoot

I recently switched over to the Underfoot client from Steam and found out that I couldn't log into POD. I have a copy of Titanium and was wondering if anyone could clue me in on what files I need to copy over to add POD to my playtime on EZServer. I am at a loss atm and it is a bit frustrating. Thanks in advance.

When I joined the server I took my monk through Dulak and then joined with a Beserker who basically gifted me through BOT. He was so nice to do that and I thanked him completely. My son and I worked our way through POT with no help and then I farmed cg and fg and payed for a run through Qvic. After getting a solid group of toons, war, cleric, paladin, ranger, bard and the monk through Qvic I headed to POD and got help again from an old timer who gave me a dragon bp for my monk. At this point I was ready to farm POD. I twice offered free runs through POT, one time to two players and another to a single. One of the three players were respectful and grateful for my gift of time. When I get help I make sure and tell the person who helped me how much I appreciate their help, and when I help someone else, if they don't bother to express gratitude it leaves me feeling less willing to help. That is just the way it is. Now, I get almost no time to play and school has started again and I have papers to grade again. So sad, so if you are playing, be grateful!

You perhaps don't realize that most people here play more than one character at a time. If you can do that, you will find it much easier to work your way up. You also may not realize that a wizard is probably not the easiest character to solo. Try a paladin and see if that helps. Then the paladin wizard combo will get the wizard up quickly. If you insist on the wizard try to get shaman 3.0 buffs in Nexus when announced by someone as they will give you 7-10k hp buff that will allow you to survive longer. Don't give up, the server is fun!
