I don't believe so.

Backstab damage with t9 dagger, 5300 base, 650 bs damage, 18 dmg bonus

Max with brawler and earring 9,862,940

If you take the damage, 5968 x that 1657.341650169622 from the sleeper dagger number, you get expected max 9,891,014.968 which is pretty close to the number obtained.

Magnetic dirk of distraction Base 1500 650 bs 18 bonus (it occured to me here that my +bs damage number on all posts is probably off by the same amount, as i believe the backstab damage on both hands applies to the main one, so all of them have +1350 backstab instead of 650 or 700.

max bs with brawler 50 and earring 50 - 3,564,060

the same method as before, the 1500+650+18, 2168 x the 1657.341650169622  = 3,593,116.6975 which again, is pretty close to the observed


Admittedly, I did not do really long parses, I don't think it's needed here.

But the backstab formula seems consistent with the weaker daggers compared to sleeper, and UW is the outlier.

As another comparison point - NORMAL pierce damage with UW 12 dagger max is ~ 14,275,140 - I don't think backstab is supposed to only be ~+50% damage over normal auto attacks.

Ultimate Dagger XII is not calculating damage for backstab correctly.


Backstab with Sleeper's Point Dagger on QRG practice dummy - unbuffed, only buffs Thief's eye and Ignore death. Earring 50,

Base damage 113,999
Backstab Dmg 650
Dmg Bonus 18

Guardian charm 50 - max hit 174,633,570 for backstab
Brawler Charm 50 - max hit 190,042,395 - with duelist and rogue's fury 201,342,200
UC 3- max hit 174,633,570
No Earring or Charm - max hit 133,543,370

UW12 Dagger

base damage 138,125
Poison Dmg 200
Backstab damage 700
dmg bonus 24

Guardian's charm 50 - max hit 21,172,700
Brawler's charm 50 - max hit 23,040,860 - rogue's fury + duelist max hit 24,410,844

everything else equal.

I don't know the exact formula for backstab but the sleeper point being about 82.4% of the damage of UW the backstabs should be about 82.4% of the backstabs same in comparison, instead of almost 10x more.

I think the UW dagger's last digit is not counting for backstab for some reason?


The max non-disc hit with sleeper dagger 190,042,395 / 114667 (the full damage on weapon adding the bonsues) = 1657.341650169622

UW's damage without last digit 13904 * 1657.34165016922 = 23,043,678.303
UW with last digit 139049 * 1657.34165016922 = 230,451,699 - Which is what you'd expect it to be based on the damage difference, Is it possible this is a specific issue with the item itself?

It can only pull 1 stone from each stack, so stick 8 stacks of 100 of them in your bag, you just need box with free slots, it'll try to make a box with free slots if you don't have one.

the command to run it is /echo findmy rank X   

replace x with whichever rank you're ranking up.

hold ctrl, run that, it'll fill up a box with 8 of them, click combine and click macro again, it'll put the gem somewhere for you and fill it again, repeat until done.

it finds a magic box, empties it to other slots in your inventory and then moves 8 stones into it for you to hit combine.

If you don't hold CTRL it will get stuck when it finds a stack and not work.

If you hold CTRL it will run, put 8 stones in the magic box for you (8 is the required amount for a bulk upgrade, 10 won't work)

For what it is worth, you can just hold CTRL while running the macro and it'll work fine.

The Kote is specifically for classes who don't have a stonewall buff, the stats still make it a best in slot item regardless if tank classes don't benefit from the click effect.

What I struggle to understand with that is why bother putting IG on UA if the Kote was meant for people without stonewall? ..

I'd suggest in no order
1: Karnor's castle - set up pretty well for 2-3 bosses but
2: Veeshan's peak - Might be better for more than 2 bosses
3: Kurn's tower - Might feel too much like TOFS and huge chance of stuff pulling through walls i bet
4: Fungus Grove - start-end progression possible
5: The Deep - HAHA BRIDGE
6: Akheva Ruins - designed for a 1-2 boss zone
7: Split paw - because almost no one went past the entrance on live

To be fair, most everyone with a full UA warrior zone pulled the halloween zone the second it was enabled. Not all survived not all failed, but pretty much everyone matching the above did it within a few minutes of each other lol.

It did seem strange that there was magorian kills like every 30 seconds for hours after the original end time.

Personally I'd suggest a roll back to just before the event started for those characters that did the triggers/their bots and deletion of any loot from those kills as they did likely offer a lot of loot out to people as a side effect - minor punishments for exploiting just encourage it to continue next time. Either way  Sad

He had to hard-code Ezloot to loot the 20,000/50,000 exp crystals because the comma in them for whatever reason makes the macro unable to see them. The only way to stop characters running it from looting them would be to remove that part from the code they're running. I BELIEVE it's the "${Corpse.Item[${i}].Name.Find[,000]}" part in ezloot, but i am not a good place to confirm that.

When I ran ezloot with the new ezloot file, after updating all characters to randomize loot list, they all got stuck on a single corpse and none moved past it.

Updated the EZLoot.inc file

1. Updated to add a command to check the value of a cursor item and see if it is in the EZLoot.ini file for the character issuing the command, if so it will read the value you have it set to in the ini
2. Updated to add a setting to randomize the loot list, the setting is named Randomize Loot List.  The default setting will remain Off but you can edit this setting one of 2 ways
    A. You can manually edit the ini file and change the Off setting to On. Open your MQ2 directory and navigate to the Macros folder, find the file named EZLoot_CharacterNameThatYouWant.ini and open it in a text editor.  Look under [Settings] and change the value for Randomize Loot List from =Off to =On
    B. You can use the build in command to update from in game, /echo ezloot settings Randomize Loot List setto On!    <-- You need to put the ! at the end, the macro expects this to update from in game

Anyone that wants to beta test it, I'd suggest backing up your existing EZLoot.inc file somewhere so if this updated version doesn't work the way you want it, you can just delete it and drop your backup back in

Excited to try, off the bat when I use the " /echo ezloot settings Randomize Loot List setto On! " is just gives error pause needs a value between 1 and 10, but the setting did appear in the characters options so i'll manually change it to check, but other than that it sounds perfect - and personally, i'd prefer random rather than array.
