Server Updated

EZ Server was updated to the most recent server code tonight, which includes a lot of performance improvements, and other back end changes. One of the major changes is to item handins, which required a substantial number of script changes to accommodate. There exists the possibility that NPC's may return multiple items where they should only return 1, if this occurs, please report the item and the NPC to Draca immediately, and any repeated turn ins will be considered duping and may result in suspension or banning.

If you notice any other issues, please post here, or Discord immediately.

I upped the rewards a little to encourage more submissions. The leader every day at midnight will win 2 GSOA. I am possibly going to implement something to encourage more videos, so far everyone is just giving me screenshots of the info. I think it's 100x more fun and engaging with video content for people to enjoy. I want to highlight please submit your times when you do them, don't hang onto them... that's what the "must be submitted within 24 hours" thing is meant to enforce.

Above all this is meant to be fun and unserious event to up server engagement over the summer. If you are unfamiliar with how to make a video, the "clip" tool that comes standard in Windows is pretty easy to figure out and I'm happy to show you how it works if needed. You can host the videos yourself or you can send it to me and I'll host it.

MQBCServer.exe will do everything you need to control your bots. The only plugins i use are autogroup and autologin.

So just use whatever version I feel like using and hope the plugins don't get me banned, seems backwards as backwards is but ok.

In the download link provided in the Wiki - https://mqemulator.net/downloads.php - The MacroQuest Next (Beta) has all the major plugins HOWEVER most of them are not allowed to be used.  I compiled my own version of MQ2 using the Red Guide Vanilla build because I wanted the camera plugin and do not really use it lol.  I have unloaded most of the plugins to match what is in the original MQ2 build.

The E3 build of MQ2 has also be said to be allowed but you are still not allowed most the automation that you can do with it.  I have stuck to the "No action is to take place unless you press a key".  If you prefer to stick to the MQ2 version you have and want to get the macros working feel free to reach out to me.  I can load up that version of MQ2 and tinker with the macros to fix them.  MQ2 syntax has changed over the different versions and somethings work in the old one way and the new another.  I had to rewrite some of my own macros due to this change.

Hi all, not new to the server but have been mucking around since hunter started it but I haven't played in years, decided to try some of the macros from the discord server but none of them work very well due to the cast plugin not being in the version of mq2 that is downloadable for the server, I was under the impression after talking to several higher end players in game that the only version of MQ2 we can use is the one linked, this doesn't contain the right plugins to use the macro's so I'm struggling to work out how people are using the macro's if they aren't using the version of mq2 that's allowed on the server.

Is there anyway we can get an updated version of mq2 that we are allowed to use that includes the plugins that everyone seems to use but are not actually in the version available because I'm not that well versed in it enough to start adding my own plugins, I tried but they just fail to load as I clearly don't know what I'm doing, Don't want to be at a disadvantage, people say you can change the syntax from cast to casting but I also tried that and a lot of the spam macro's don't work properly that way.
