honestly, if you're buying a new computer i would highly highly sugest you BUY AN SSD! they are dirt cheap now adays, you can get a 80-90gb drive for under $100 which is all you need to install windows and a few games. The difference you'll notice in just about everything from response time to loading times will really blow you away compared to traditional hard drives.


its easily the best upgrade you can do for your computer other then cpu/gpu upgrades.

and yeah i cant see 12 toons on 4gigs of ram, i couldn't even do 12 when i had 6 gigs of ddr3-1800 in my system...

Everyone else told me that as well, so I went out and got a 64gb SSD for windows, EQ and a couple other things. Going to be building my computer tomorrow so ill be back in action for probably sunday with radically better speeds. I went from a store bought HP with a geforce 8500gt and 2gb ram to a beast with a geforce gtx 550ti, 16gb ram with an SSD and a i5 2500k. Used to be a struggle to run 5 toons, now it should be an absolute breeze.
