Hi Everyone,

I've been playing on Project 1999 for a month or two and I just installed the UF client so I can now play on the EZ server. For my P99 folder I use the EQ Emulator launcher that auto updates the game for me.

I was wondering can I use the EQ Emulator launcher for the EZ server, and if not what would happen if I accidentally did.

Thanks

make a shortcut of eqgame.exe on your desktop. right click the shortcut, go to properties, in the "Target" box type patchme at the end of whatever is there if you are on a single core computer. if you are using a multiple core computer replace everything in the "Target" box with the following line:

C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe /C start /affinity 1 eqgame.exe patchme

Hope this helps....

Thanks, I knew thats what you could do but when ever updates are released its nice with the EQ Emulator patch to just auto update rather then manually so if I could use the Emulator patcher i would prefer to do that or is that out of the question?

We don't have to patch anything for EZ server.  When the emulator comes out with new stuff, our GM updates the database directly.  The only thing you need here is our custom zone files, and our custom spell file.
