Rogue Backstab Damage Cap?

79 damage -19 delay - Epic 3.0 daggerfall backstab 20121 , max crit 40242

86 damage 19 delay - Epic 3.0 with Mossy V 11 damage aug - Max Daggerfall Backstab 20121 - Max Crit 40242

Shouldnt i hit Backstab for MORE damage with the 86 damage dagger? are we capped ?

Yeah that is kinda weird, I would love to play my rogues, maybe if their damage made it worth the risk of them being beaten to death in T3 fights I would.

What exactly are you asking them to take a look at? Rogue backstab damage is not capped. You've not provided enough information to bolster your claims. Run a 20 minute parse, post screen shot of min/max/range on backstabs with the 3.0 and 3.0+aug.

I wasn't kidding when I said Pazuzu BSes for 120k crit.

Pretty simple answer. On weapons backstab damage is separate from weapon damage. You have two weapons with exactly the same backstab damage so of course the maxes are going to be the same. The augment is for weapon damage, not backstab damage.
