I think you are right, i really adjusted my display settings last night. I need to undo that and see what caused it.

I reversed all of my changes and still am randomly crashing in instances even on characters with no recent setting changes. Others are complaining about it in chat today, wondering where there is not more posts on this subject.

Hey there Boogey

I'm crashing badly too on LDON instances.  It doesn't seem to matter if I make one or I try to enter an exsisting one.

Seems like it takes about 15 mins to cool down before I can get in.

Cheers

If you crash while you're zoning into you, when you log back in you should be in it already.

I've crashed a couple times entering an instance (Not as much as you it seems though) and every time I log whoever crashed back in they're in the instance not the pub zone.

Having the same problem here.... one of my characters died and then crashed while trying to get back into a guild instance of POS.

Then I lost interwebs for a minute (unrelated problem) and couldn't get anyone back online for a few.

After like my 3rd attempt tho they started getting in.... just keep at it

just about 90 % of the time I zone from death or what have you, I get disconnected. Kind of a bummer Sad

I'm curious if you have new hardware, new OS, or a new EQ client?  I am running a ATI Radeon 5470 video card, using Windows 7 Ultimate (in XP SP3 mode) and Titanium client, and I am not having any crashing issues at all.
