If the ram is bad the pc wont boot up usually. Though that could be the problem, hopefully it is not.
It is looking like maybe conflicting programs running in the background or maybe directx is not up to date or a driver. It is very likely software related. It could also be malware. Below is a google link and a few other links to some websites describing some common causes and fixes.
