it was too hard to begin with, and now it is even more..the mobs are doing WAY to much damage for what it is. A 3.0 pet can take down one mob not going below 80% fully buffed. Yet tonight the single mobs were taking the pet down to 30-40%hp using the same combat/healing methods.
The point of the zone being hard and needing a raid to kill bosses to grant one the 3.0 epics should not be so hard that a group of veteran players ALL with 3.0 wipe on any boss.
With druid 6k buff on too.
The shit was hitting harder than usual...thats all im saying.

is it just my imagination?

I did not notice any different in the zone.  But then again when I first got there I was only in ldon gear and had my 2.5..  Know I am bit over gear for the zone.  If the trash your talking about is the Noc at the zone in.. They have always been the hardest trash in the zone.  The 2 sets of 3 spawns are a true pain in the butt.

We've updated our source code, but nothing with the NPC's have changed directly. I haven't changed their min/max dmg, hp, or ac. So I dunno. Maybe lay down the crack pipe?

I noticed this also, it just didnt feel right but that was all instances. We have a guild POD,Tacvi,TT,Qvic and a few others. Qvic was hitting way harder and my Charm (oracle, SK) was critting way less. I actually died on TT soloing her. The last time i did TT she never got me below 90 % health.

Something with instances is just not quite right. Other than that they are awsome,

At the time of his post, KLS didn't even submit the AC fixes to SVN, so yeah he's on crack.

What time did you update source, Hunter?

Looking at http://projecteqemu.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/EQEmuServer/changelog.txt the last source code update was 06/16 so we don't have 06/18 thru 06/20 yet.

Considering that 3-4 people have commented on the same thing, a day after the new instance setup was implemented (awesome job on that btw), is it not theoretically possible that when spawning the instance version of a zone that it does something screwy to mobs stat tables (dmg output, AC HP etc etc)?

I don't claim to know how any of this fancy stuff works, just seems coincidental and that it could be a possibility?

That's interesting... my pet was going down way faster than usual in Qvic.  Pretty sure it's not my imagination. Maybe I was just getting to be too awesome and the server gods decided to humble me.

To all those who are reporting this - is this regular Qvic, or an instanced version?

I know what Secrets & Hunter have said, but it seems very odd that a few people have reported this a day or 2 after instancing was enabled........
