Just a heads up. Make sure when you turn your strike aug into the NPC to Aug your weapon that you remove your epic aug first or he will eat it.

I'm kind of assuming you are doing this to add 2 augs?
I think this issue should have a better remedy. Its silly that a sealer needs to be used to add augs to a weapon. I have never done it myself.... don't wanna go thru the hassle. I would rather have less dps :p
Is there any way to add this function to rof2 point and click system? By modifying the augs maybe? Or even remove the secondary slot and boost 2h Aug dmg as was previously planned (i think? ) in hates changes that were never finished...?
I have seen more than once recently with people having issues with Aug merchant and there should be something easier in place. It would be better time spent fixing this than akk's mailbox filling up with requests to return eaten items. Just my 2cp.
Any thoughts?

Rock - You can't add two same aug to 2h weapon on RoF2 so we have to use the Aug Sealer guy to slap em on for you. It's really painless. I don't know why he suddenly eating the epic aug.

I understand. That's what my post is about.  If using rof2 shouldn't need Aug sealer...modified my orig post too maybe it makes sense now. Lol sorry at work and doing this from phone Rock |

When your doing combines with weapons you already have. Make sure it is wiped clean before combining. Lost epics on accident doing the us combine and just had to live and learn and get it all over again. Takes a few seconds.

Yeah lol I started at epic 1.5 on my alt pally yesterday after work...then realized I can get the 5.0 aug from Greetings in Abyss...just ned to go kill OMM/FloatingSkull/Vul'ak/HG to get back to 9.0...so spending all that time getting the 2.5 in Hushed Banquet was a waste of time last night

Greetings hands you an actual 5.0 Aug and not a completed 5.0 book? Hmmmm doesn't sound right but I've never thought about it much either....

Last time I had to redo an epic the 5.0 was just a book and not the aug so I still had to farm all the way up from 1.5

Just checked, at this time. You can get Completed 5.0 book by hailing Greeting NPC.
Not aug.

something similar(?) happened to me today.. I had a weapon with epic (4.5) aug in it, and handed the aug sealer 2 FS augs to put in (FS6) and he ate both of the FS augs... the weapon and the epic aug were ok, tho.. |

Seems like this could be fixed with a Epic flagging system. That way if you somehow lose your epic aug, you could tak to the epic NPC and he will give you another.

Refarming them really isn't that bad, takes a couple hours til T7, then you have to clear for the stones unless you have some banked, but T8 and T9 are fast re-farms.
