looking around and trying to find out how to get started playing on this server and I find nothing. Am I missing something?

Hmm a lot of info is here on the forums.
Some of the stuff you might want to know might have not been moved from previous forums.
Just make a post and break it down by section for the questions you have.
People will respond to it.
