Starting April 15th if you just hand an NPC some random, expensive/powerful item that is not associated with the NPC and his/her quests, you will NOT be refunded the item.
Ladies and Gents,
I'm bloody sick of getting emails from people saying they've handed in some extremely valuable item to some random NPC for no reason I can figure out. It's 2-5 people a day sending me emails like this. Let me try to make this perfectly clear with the statement above.
Akkadius and I are here to maintain the server, continue to provide a sandbox to play in, and bring you ladies and gents a good time for free. What we are NOT here to do is babysit you and hold your hand for every accident you make. If you want to randomly hand NPCs your valuable items, you will start learning the value in double checking before you hit Ok. If a script fails or a quest NPC fails, this is a different case (
read: our fault) and reimbursement will be handled ASAP.
