Greetings EZ Server Players!

The time for change has come for a mostly Forgotten class

~Ranger~

For some time now players have avoided playing Rangers, one of the reasons
is the Epic Augment. Currently the Ranger Epic Augment is only usable in
Bow Weapons.

But, remember when Ranger Epics used to look like this...



Well, we are going back in time and make this the norm again!

But how?

First off you will have to have take any Ranger Epic Augment, like this one...




Next you will need a Magic Box, everyone has that!



You will have to put your current Ranger Epic Augment into that Magic box, but
what do we combine it with?

one of these...



Wait a sec, we have never seen one of those drop in game, where do I get one
of these things?



Surely something in there will have one!

But, what do I end up with?



WOW! You mean I can use that in my 1h weapons? Both Primary and Secondary?
YES SIR!

Can I change back to the Bow usable Ranger Epic Augment? YES, you can. You will
just need to reverse the process, new version Ranger Epic Augment + Ranger
Epic Modification Element in your Magic Box.

What else do I need to do? Download the New Spell File, since this is a new
element of the game please download the new spell file from the
"Rent's EZ Server Files Test" link on the website. Before you replace your
spell file in your Everquest Folder please make a backup of that Spell File
and save it somewhere (always a good idea).

Thank you all that asked for this change (including myself lol) And thank
you for your patience in waiting on this change.

Looks like the flagging process isnt working with the new epic type.

I only tested with going from 77 to 78, but I got a blank response from the LUW when I used the new aug, but it worked fine when I converted it back to the original aug.  Chars name is Kevice if you want to look at logs.  Time stamp was 11:51 to 11:54 is MST.

Looks like the 9.1 ranger epic has a refresh time of 1 minute 10 seconds.

Seems to be a similiar issue:
Tried to give my epic augment 7.1 and Charged Veeshan Scale of Power to Epic Vendor (EV) in ToV (Ranger char->Lagornson).
But EV gave it back to me. I had to change  it back to 7.0 to have EV accept the aug and scale in order to progress to 8.0.
After that I could change it back to 8.1.

As I used 2 Ranger Epic Modificatioon Elements in this progress I guess I have to farm more elements in Qvic .... Grin
