i mean grtz on the 4.5, but can you really notice a diff with the 5 ac since i guarantee your well over the soft cap.....and the 1k more hp... ive been there with my main war and he has occassionally been quad'd for 88k each round which def gobbles up the 300k roughly hes sitting at.

I wanted to start an actual conversation about this (something that does not seem to be an option on these boards these days because everyone just thinks your complaining) and maybe even have hunter chime in and explain to us that this may or may not change and why....that's all.  I mean if anyone could give us the logic behind it and an answer it would be him......my whole point of this thread no matter what some people may think or thought.

and I gave you the reason above - this isn't a downgraded weapon like we saw in 4.0's and given the balance of the 5.0 zone there is a good reason this weapon shouldn't be overpowering. I'm not sure how to be more specific than that.

Starting an adult conversation doesn't consist of "are you kidding" and phrases of the like however. That's a very poor way to start a dialogue or intelligent discussion as it comes off as whining or complaining. Instead you could have simply asked for why there doesn't appear to be a major upgrade in the statistics without coloring with phrases like that.

sorry i did not start the thread how you felt appropriate....but i typed how i felt when i saw it and I know many others who are very close have already said the same.  the whole reason of this thread if you want to believe me or not is to find out something that i obviously dont understand and maybe have an explanation sort of like you gave above.

Well now you know from the perspective of someone who is in the zone and using the weapon. It's appropriate basically for the content.

Not about what I feel is appropriate - you objected to being called a whiner. If you start that way you are a whiner to me - I'll call it like I see it. If on the other-hand you start with an adult statement then you would have had that response from me more immediately and i would have clarified why the weapon shouldn't be overpowering without calling you a whiner.

Again I'm the one that has the weapon - so I'm currently the only one impacted by it, and I'm not rushing off to the forums to complain about it, as I said I'm sure it will change over time like the others did.

Ya you certainly need an attitude adjustment or you obviously forgot to take your meds......either way adjusted or not as it may be in the future I'm just trying to think of the logic behind finding this an upgrade to an epic when the UPGRADE part does not even really exist.

And you will not be the only one impacted by it even though you are the one who has it now.  Are there any other 4.5's to compare to currently?  Just curious if it seems to be this way across the board and should be expected from others.

If you think your post wasn't complaining about it, then I'd suggest you read it again. My point was simply be PATIENT. You aren't impacted by it at this time, so give it some time. Not everything is perfect right off the bat, but making a thread about it isn't the best way of getting it solved - let alone by trying to stir the pot with inflammatory statements like "are you kidding".

The weapon is an upgrade - there is no stat on it less than the prior version. It's clearly not a downgrade - and let me be clear when I got the 4.0's some of those were indeed downgraded from the 3.0 (enchanter and cleric come to mind) Perhaps it isn't as much of an upgrade as you feel it should be, however - again this is where that patience comes in, those of us fighting in this zone and fighting the bosses know roughly how the balance sits already. Perhaps if the weapon was changed much it would change the fights too dramatically - this is where experience and time kicks in.

My point is simply - there is a right and a wrong way to get issues addressed and this isn't it. This will not help the situation, and there is no reason for you to do this. Hunter has enough on his plate as you can see lately on this forum without having to spend time on a weapon of which there is exactly one in existence at this time - again patience being the better part of discretion.

It's kind of silly to complain about something you don't even have really, I'm not complaining. I'm sure it will change over time, just like everything else has.

I know this was already asked in the post but do you think there is any way we can have a way to break down cyan's?  I just busted my hump farming stones and turned everything I have into cyans not long ago just to farm the heck outta t3....now i just have a bunch of t4 stones which are kind of useless to me until i get the prior gear.

I opened a new account to start a cleric about 5 days ago and received the initial email stating I would get another for verification soon. 

I still have not received anything yet, I also tried to log it in through the site and have requested another verification email to be sent twice and nothing is coming through.

Login is julstudio if anyone can help me with this....and yes I have checked the spam filter and still nothing.

just curious.....do you have to do every epic to do the next or can you just jump straight to 3.0 if you have everything?

I know this is not the case with normal eq but the reason for me asking is because ez server does not necessarily follow all live eq rules.
