If killing lots of different things to find the items you want is not your thing, then I'd suggest something other than a game based on EQ...
Killing lots of different things is not the issue. Killing underwater is.

We sure about a proc limit? I've looked at that code a lot, and I see no limit. Every possible proc can fire every round. There can be a proc on the weapon, a proc on each aug, and up to 4 additional procs added by SE_AddMeleeProc or SE_WeaponProc. The only limit is the 4 slots for spell based procs like Kraken. If there are already 4 spell procs on someone then any additional attempts to add them fail. Good to know. So the only way someone should hit a limit is if they are using more than 4 spell based procs. I dont think thats even possible right now? Would have to be Kraken, Tempest, and 3 more...

Also, don't forget the higher tier mnk epics have a cure proc which might be causing the proc limit to be reached even sooner.
We sure about a proc limit? Like I said before, my SK is landing 6 procs every round. 3 x FS5, epic lifetap, kraken, shroud of discord. This is with sword and board.

How would Kraken possibly lower dps? Does it replace the aug proc or something?
Yes with strike 8s you have a possible 6 different procs 3 in each weapon. Max proc limit per combat round seems to be 4. So a proc will be pushed off if a kraken lands. Strike 8 procs > kraken --- so when a strike is replaced you lose dps. My SK is landing 6 procs every round. 3 x FS5, epic lifetap, kraken, shroud of discord

pls lower the weap delay my paladin cant keep up with the heals now
Aug damage was increased but epic procs stayed the same damage. It affects SK epic lifetaps too, but remember that he lowered mob haste as well so mobs do less DPS than they once did.

I could easily wipe all the coin and loot off all LDoN trash, remove boss spawns, and give 1/75 chance 1 of 2 bosses spawns on you with 100% chance loot, for Halloween Style.
This would be such a nice change. Add a card to the boss also, so players can either get the LDoN armor or use for FG/CG quest.

I'd like to see it halloween/T1 style. All coin/gems/etc completely removed from trash. 1/75 mobs pops a named (page guy for that floor). The guy drops a non trivial amount of plat (like 2kish maybe?), an item (anguish level gear from live, like currently) floor specific v1, the page, a 50 point coin, a floor specific card, and a stone of descent.
So for example, I'm on LDON5. I kill random trash and out pops a Froglok Ghost. He drops a page, sorc upgrade, that silly range slot with the overhaste click, stone of descent, and a 50 credit token.
LDON6 could be a 1/60 chance and the rares are even 25% split among all 4 v1s. LDON1 could spawn that weird skeleton dude and drop a stone of descent or whatever I don't even know.
I see this as solving 2 problems:
1) Less annoyance sticking around for 5 seconds per kill to see if the corpse evaporates 2) It's now impossible to camp the page droppers and force people to buy instances.
Plus you get the excitement of a dude popping on you and getting a pile of stuff

I think the recent changes to weapon delay and mob leashes are pretty helpful in reducing lag. Im not sure if you intended to change pets delay/dmg or not, but my necro pet is still buzzsawing through mobs at > 15 hits per second.
I made some parses before and after the changes, and I figured I would post the differences here for you so you have a frame of reference. These parses are about 5-10min, so allow for around 5% variability. I parsed necro pet and sk - both 4.0, max AA, oracle charms, staff of fluxing power, and same buffs used before and after the changes. I had a shaman keep kraken on them also. The only one with augs is the sk with FS5 x 3. Here are the numbers:
Overall DPS - SK increased 28% Necro pet increased 7%
Breakdowns - Kraken DPS decreased 72% on the SK, but increased by 88% on the necro pet (obviously since pets delay wasnt changed. Honestly kraken is worthless right now unless cast on pets) Aug DPS alone on the SK increased by 77% Melee DPS alone on the SK increased by 43%

who cares about cards or coin. Jesus he gives us 1/75 chance on top of normal drops but thats not good enough?
They are important details. The 1/75 chance on leashed mobs isnt a "gift" to us, its to improve the server load. We probably wont be getting charms any faster than we were before, and thats the intent I believe.

I can easily make a next tier anger aug for type 22.
Will look into delays as well. I could modify delay and haste across the whole server but would like to find a way to make dps some what normal so everyone isn't crying about a dps nerf.
Slower swinging could also help with the mobs reposte.
Yea I would take a maxed out monk and test different values on spell haste/worn haste/weapon delay/proc rate/aug damage until you find a good combination that will make them slower without changing the overall dps. Once you find that good combo, then you could start editing kraken and bard proc effects to keep their overall DPS the same as well. Also dont forget about embedded weapon effects like SK lifetap proc and pally heal proc.

the 'proc rate' affects all procs big and small.
I could make a bigger delay on the weapons with bigger proc damage?
Trying to figure this one out before I start making aug slot types 22+
I know youre trying to reduce network load and server load, but you may want to get some input from one of the emulator developers before changing anything like this. The reason I say that is because I believe the order of things responsible for network/server load here to be the following: Low weapon delays (including high haste) > Nerd augs and zerker procs > Kraken and bard proc effects > NPC trains > single target strike augs (IS, FS, NS)
