Just wanted to say hello EZ.. I've been on a work project since Jan.. Looking forward to getting back into the swing of things and checking out all the new content.
I've still got to grind out a few more UC's and a few more pieces of T4, but if there is anything I can help with, hit me up. Not sure if there are any teams trying to push through T5, but I'd be game to hook up and help out (pending feedback below).. I'm running a 6man (SK/PAL/PAL/BRD/ROG/MNK)
Speaking of changes and new content.. Do any of the T6-T8 players run something other than a WAR as a main tank?.. As a SK, I love not getting feared, but I do have to spam for aggro. I have a WAR under construction, but 1) I want to have my group firm before I really start pushing through T5 and 2) I'm trying to guage how much harder/easier it will make encounters before I go full speed on building him up.
Thanks for any guidance.

Is anyone having issues with training dummy melee skill increases? I'm not getting any skill increase on the newbie I just rolled. Saw at least one other person having the same issue.

Thanks guys, the real question driving my original post was what can we do with this stuff. Simply frustrated when I see the banked set that I've got time and cash in, that has lost it's purpose. I've never played WoW, so I've not seen the effect of scrap/disassembling mechanic in a game. What can we do with Diamond armor, to give people a reason to make it or wear it?
There needs to be a specific purpose for wearing the Armour. This is good example: xp bonus worn effect..
What about a "Blue Diamond" zone that can only be entered while wearing the armour. The zone could have bonus XP beyond PoFire and other desirable items for players (eg. GLGs, Charms, Aug Mats, etc). 100% agree. awesome ideas.. xp enhancement/exclusive zone would retain the spirit of the armor and maintain interest and value in the set.

Just curious if there has been any talk in the past of the ability to deconstruct certain items that have been created in the magic box.. eg, Blue Diamond armor. Possibly limited to a class like a chanter, chance of failure consumes the item? Haven't really thought through possible negative ramifications, just curious what you guys thought. A positive would be to retain some of the component investment value rolled into creating something that has lost it's overall value to a change in game dynamic (ROA releveling). Not even sure I have seen a reverse engineering functionality in a game.

Yesterday was just as bad with 200 Players on then 300 ish then 400 .. I was shocked to see the Lag so bad for many with 200 on. =(
Experienced the same thing.. got on Sunday morning and was surprised to see 200+ on, but after getting creamed a few times from the lag monster, I bailed. Came back and tried to load in my 9man crew and had people running all over the place. Normally, when there's 200-300 on, I can load and run 12 smoothly.

Just to emphasizing everyones bump on the higher level Oracle.. I run two pallies and have made a focused effort to maximize Oracles on them both. That ramp in healing will go a long way keeping your team alive. Following Kovou's line, if you go ahead and rock out 25's, when you step into HoH and those V2 Oracles start dropping, you can immediately capitalize on leveling them up to 31 and 41 for more benefit.

Most things have been covered-- the only other advice I might give: Unless you have a LOT of free time, be sure you have the toons you want to take in to t6 figured out before doing t5. It is very likely you will not want to do another 5.0 quest from scratch for a different toon anytime soon after finishing t5 for the first time. Pick your core 6 wisely.
This exactly what I've been debating about. A lot of free time is something I don't have the luxury of, so I totally want to lock in on a core and only build out a second team after I've got them pretty rock solid. Bums me out to bail on my pet classes, but so be it.

Thanks guys.. I'm really looking forward to breaking into this zone and learning it.
Xiggie, thanks for sharing the timeline aspect and the build you use to be successful. That was absolutely a perspective I wanted to know... that bar, turning point, or line you have to be able to cross in order to take you over the hump and be successful against the timer. I see the parallel between what you and Warbash are saying.
Thanks Quaglin & Brutality, based on your experience, I think I am in a good spot to give it a go and experiment with my class makeup.
I think I'm going to try a hybrid while I work on a cleric.. pull up my War and try War/Sk/Pal/Pal/Rog/Mnk. Can't hurt right?
Thanks again
