I've encountered this a bit recently while SLS farming in Jaggedpine, I had 3 instances open and after about 10 hops I'd get disconnected and then get disconnected fairly regularly after that. Doesn't happen to me any other time.

Akk, lately many players claiming they cant get Essences to drop on first and second floor of Frozen Shadow. Is this just mass bad rng, or an intentional change? Or something to check? Thanks!

I don't know about the earlier levels, but I've killed the boss mob on level 6 easily over 60 times, including on double loot days, and have never had an essence drop.

Did some items get removed? I didn't see the instant cure group item when I checked it out about an hour ago.

I just logged in after some time off and I still don't see the instant cure group item and I see no essence's on the EZ Rewards guy in Nexus, was that all removed?

I'm not sure if this is something client side or what, but Hunter said he enabled Pet Affinity on all classes a long time ago, but it doesn't appear to be available on several of mine (Bard, Zerker, Rogue, etc).

Its not a huge deal, but I have several halloween pets (all Cazic Thule) that don't seem to be hit by group spells and heals.

Beastlord's Epic Aug 4.5 shows that it summons the 4.0 pet, pretty sure Ive got the latest spell file.

The spell inks need to be purchased or start dropping from at least T1 on. The vellum will keep people from making spells they shouldn't have yet. I have a ton of missing spells on my guys and haven't had a single ink drop for me in T5 yet and anytime they are for sale they are ridiculously priced.

I may have jumped the gun there, it just seemed that anyone who brought up the new lower resists was being piled on in this thread as entitled, I guess I skimmed the part where people complained about donating for items.

Hate, I get what your doing and like I said, I appreciate it, thats why I said it was disheartening to see the leaderboards for resists, as a casual player I knew I'd never be able to get to 4000-5000 or beyond. I'm glad that resists requirements are being lowered, and if my lower raw numbers give me the same or even better protection in the tier I'm in T5, ToFS 3, then I'm all for it!

Thats kind of a shit attitude, I worked extremely hard to get my main group all to 1400+ resists, that included UC'ing 6 characters, doing the SoT quest to leve 5, yes I actually did the stupid quest and didn't just wait til halloween and grinding out 400+ HR in stones before Hate made the changes to TOFS. I earned that 1400 resist level and now its down to 1188 or so.

As for Hate, I love the changes you've been doing, I hated the fact that resists were as big a deal as they were, I understand still needing them but looking at the leaderboards and seeing 4000-5000 resists was pretty discouraging. I hope though, that there will be other ways to get HR up besides "LOL farm stones" maybe even adding a few points to tiered armor would help out a lot.

I have been seeing that also ... it seem to a stealth change every so often ... little by little over the past month

I hate to be the one to break this to you, but you're completely insane. I've not touched ToFS short of adding a shit ton of cash to floors 5+. I suggest you re-equip your tinfoil hat friend.

I dont know about any stealth changes over time, all I know is for the past week I've been able to pull so many mobs and the mana drain spell never hit my paladin and I never died unless I got stuck on a bookshelf or something. Today I tried my usual first pull which is only 12 mobs and I died before I even got back to the safe zone in part of level 2.

I have tried to reply to this 3 times now but keep restarting, heres what it boils down to.

In your first post Hate you say that not nerfing the UW will help 1/3 of the server and hurt the other 2/3. The issue I have with this is that if you have done the UW, you have put in a shit load of work, especially with the nerfs to acquire it. The EoP sink alone is enough to stop most people who aren't already swimming in Plat, then you add in the EoN and EoToFS and to just even get started you are talking about longer than most people spent getting their first UC.

I've got enough Qvic, CT and ToFS essences to make up to UW2, what I don't have are the EoP, EoN and if the weapon gets nerfed down further I wont bother with it. I agree that the HP are out of whack on it, cap that at 1 million. But those that have the upper ranks have put in a ton of time, I don't even have one and I've got hundreds of hours invested into it. Taking away the "Ultimate" aspect of it does nothing for anyone who has spent even 10 minutes trying to acquire one.

I still use WinEQ with MQ2, you just need to add WinEQ=on to your MQ2MoveUtils.ini file.

I didn't talk with Hunter too many times but I remember sitting in Fugitive's TwitchTV chat watching him destroy T5 and Hunter was in there, didn't even know it was him cause his twitch name wasn't Hunter. I asked him if he could make the Tae Ew Hide backpacks trade able again and he did that, which was awesome.

Over Christmas I was trying to donate some video games to him but the ebay seller flaked out so I went the Western Union route, there was a snafu and Hunter and I ended up emailing back and forth about 20 times. Awesome stuff guys. This summer will be 4 years that I've been on EZ Server and aside from live its the only EQ I've played, its awesome to know it is in good hands to continue.

Quick question, forgive me if this is inappropriate or has been answered before but does anyone know what happened to Hunter? It seemed odd that he passed shortly after taking a year off to be with his wife and newborn, I have been wondering if he was sick and knew it was the end or not?
