Hello,

Im not new to eq, but i retired in 2004. I'm back because this eqemu is basically exactly what we all wanted from Sony, but they didnt listen. I'm having an issue when im jsut randomly playing no instance or raid etc, and all of sudden my screen dissappears, the entire client crashes but i get no crash report etc, as if i was never in the game. Is anyone else having this issue ever, and what could be the cause of it. Im running a single opne client, have 4 gig ram on a amd 9500 with nvidia 8400 gs video card.

Thank you hope someone else is having the issue ^.^

What operating system? If windows 7 make sure your running as an administrator , if Vista format your HD and install windows 7  Wink

Make sure your running as an administrator be it vista or Win7, and check that your video card drivers are up to date.

If you're running Vista and the Titanium client, you're like to have issues.  When I was using Titanium client I could only play on XP.  Once I upgraded to SoD my issues went away.  Since then I have upgraded to Win7 and still no issues.

Do you have any problems with any other 3D type games?
Kinda sounds like a heat issue or possibly a driver issue.

Many many things could be the issue at this point, can you help narrow it down?
