Does anyone know if it's possible (and, if so, how) to give pets the paladin epic for the healing proc and the fireblade for the 10,000 HP?  The paladin epic is main hand only, so it has to be given first.  Whenever I've given the pet once it has the paladin epic it doesn't get the HP buff.  As a matter of fact, it seems the pet only gets the HP buff when it's given a second (and equips) fireblade.

Mobs, including pets, only use the primary hand when calculating bonuses, so you can either have the pally sword there or a fireblade.

Which is more usefull for tanking mobs? Bard, so no way other than CH book to heal it...

Bard getting access to the master ring was more for buffs. If it was intended for added dps they would have been given pet affinity AA as well.

I figured it was to make up for the fact that charm doesn't work.  Either way, he's a handy lil guy to have.  If I am soloing I often will give him a pally blade just so I don't need to pay as much attention to him.
