I'm not there yet, but I have seen a few people comment, and I have a suggestion.

I understand that you don't want to make a major change in stats for the 4.5 and 5.0 epics. Adding too much would be unbalancing...

Maybe you could add a new model for the 5.0 pet class epics? Necro could have something like Seth's (T2) model, Mage could get a Kronos pet, or a Kyv (Qvic) archer pet?, and Bst maybe something like Split Paw (T3)? No real need to change the stats, but a custom model would at least give props to the effort involved in obtaining the 5.0.

I invite discussion, and suggestions for pet models...

That sounds pretty ez and a nice gesture. I would also like to be able to aug my weapon with some thing besides one Black Diamond of Regeneration and a Mossy Tundra Stone, again not asking for class balance here, just something for me to fill in the gaps you've so graciously provided.

p.s. Haven't found the Mage Wrists yet, still trying though. pst If anyone has any luck, last pieces I need!

all u have to do is add the models to your global load file...and it wouldnt crash, it would just appear as a naked human

That's the reason it's open for discussion.

If you have ideas for pet models that would work, add em. Hell, the bst could be a grass snake... It's something to reward the people who toughed it out and got the 5.0 by giving them a pet everyone can recognize.

necro 5.0 pet should be a 50 foot gnome in a clown suit. i'd run for the damn hills if i saw one of those comin at me!

One of the elemental giants in BoT would be cool for Mage pet.. like half the size though. Cloaked shadow guys from Griegs or Maiden's with some flaming swords would look pretty wicked for a necro.. kinda like a Nazgul.. even more awesome if they had some killer two hander graphic..

Now that would be one hell of a trophy to show off!

I love the idea of the cloaked spirits for the necro pet as well.

For the Beastlord pet, how bout a mini Ture from Anguish? I know the model is from a later expansion, but it can be emplimented like Kronos, who is Mayong Mistmore from Demi-Plane.
