Please download new spell file 11-27-12

Hateborne updated INT casters to have more Mana in the last few tiers of the game, and updated a few of their spells too.

Some new spells were created by Hateborne too but I haven't added them to the loot drops yet.

From looking at the spell file.. looks like they are T5+ type nukes. But who knows  Tongue

To reply to the 4 emails I got (and to let the rest of you nice ladies/gents/trolls know), the changes are below.



T4-T6 geared INT casters will notice larger mana pools. Wizards will have the largest available pool, followed by enchanters, and necromancers and magicians tied for third. Roughly 16-19% step up in terms of mana from T4-T6 gear. The epics also received appropriate scale ups.

New Spells:
  • Wizards received new Yamakagi's Ranks (T5 and T7)
  • Wizards received new slow cast, extreme damage nuke (T6 and T8)
  • Magicians have a new slow cast, high damage nuke (T5)
  • Necromancers have a new Unholy Shackles rank (T6)
  • Druids received a new Druid Regeneration rank (T5)
  • Druids received a new Timeless: Pack Regeneration (T6)


Changes:
Beastlord's Bestial Tower has been restored to working glory. It is now a pet rune with short cast time (0.5s) and medium refresh (30-60s).
Cleric's Tower of Vie mana cost has increased and cast time decreased to 0.3s.
Cleric's Timeless: Chromastrike has had cast time halved (from 4.0 to 2.0 base).
Druid's Harbinger of the Sun II/III and BC'S Rain of Frogs II/III have had mana costs increased.
Druid's Chaotic Frost cast time was halved (from 4.0 to 2.0 base), and mana cost was increased.
Enchanter's Insanity II/III/IV has been heavily increased in damage and had cast time halved.
Magician's Tower of Calliav has been restored to working glory. It is now a pet rune with short cast time (0.5s) and medium refresh (30-60s). This spell is slightly stronger than the Beastlord form.
Magician's Incinerating Aura is working normally once more. Go forth and incinerate!
Necromancer end game DoTs are now either 0.5s or 1.0s cast. The damage on the DoTs have been scaled up as well. MOAR DOTZ!
Paladin's Crabtwoshoes Will Heal You! is now a 0.5s cast with 30s refresh.
Wizard's Brilliant Ember and Yamkagi's Fiery Passion Infero has a shorter refresh time.
Wizard's Harvest line no longer stuns when used.

Shared:
High end Yaulp spells should now be working. Replaced the proc rate adjustment with a healing bonus. Using Yaulp now grants Haste, ATK, small Spell Dmg, small Healing Bonus.
Tower/Keep of Alendar had cast times reduced.
Timeless: Invigor and Explosive Energy I/II had cast time reduced to 0.5s.



Coming Soon:
Cleric pets will be fixed (omg I know! Thanks go to Natedog for pointing out the glaringly obvious failing on my part)
Druid T4 pet will be receiving a T7 rank, both ranks will receive passive huge hp regen buff (that stacks with druid regen).
Shaman T4 pet will be receiving a T7 rank, both ranks will receive a large permanent stonewall with very small aggro component (~400 aggro every hit).

Just went and parsed the Wizard spells... I am impressed... very impressed sir!


If you cycle the nukes ..  Slow Ice nuke -> Yamakazi  nukke  .. while cycling in mana necklace when needed... the dps is very worthy!


Good job on that... wizards will once again be very competitive DPS!

I was thinking more so they'd get more out of strike augs. They'll never be even remotely close to paladins since they use icestrikes instead of firestrikes.

Got a plate full and currently doing EZ Stuff at 12-18hrs per day.
