Yeah I have a GoPro Hero for recording my auto races and I swear I'm tempted to just run it all the time when I'm driving on the highway.. got clipped by a truck last year and he tried to say it was my fault and my pussy insurance company didn't want to fight him in court, so now one more accident or a ticket and my rates will be jacked thru the roof..  If I had been recording you would have seen where I was driving straight completely within my lane when the truck changed lanes practically on top of me.

Actually, I was just coming back from Chicago. I was taking the Indiana 80/90 Toll Road.

Next time hit me up!

I was supposed to drive to Indiana this morning for a noon meeting.  They called me up and told me that the roads were so messed up that they had to cancel.   Thank God.

Hunter's probably like Reginald Denny, if Reginald Denny still drives a truck. He aint stopping for anyone anymore ! I mean seriously, just mash the gas!

I was just on I-75 just north of Cincinnati heading south bound the other night... the road wasnt even touched.  Was so slick and snowy, was so glad when I seen Kentucky, they at least put some salt down.  Was a tense 50 miles for sure I feel for ya Hunter.

Would of stopped but the load was already so late already... gotta love trucking

I love that word, negotiate. And yes, I sure did that successfully. Gained traction at the last second barely missing that FedEx truck.

Or it could have been a big game of bumper "trucks"....the outcome would have been bad though..

Glad you made it safe...

A nice 360 degree dash cam! Should make criminals think twice before doing illegal stuff in plain view in the streets heh. This one is expensive, about $2,000

http://www.brickhousesecurity.com/car-surveillance.html

I'm looking for a IR Night Vision Dash Cam with 1080P HD. I seem to be able to find either or, but not both.

"Serves as a cost effective investigation and counter terrorism tool"

I always promote sunscreen as a counter terrorism tool. Because it protects you agains free radicals.
How to Prevent Free Radicals from Damaging Your Skin and DNA

"The sun's damaging ultraviolet rays, even in indirect sunlight, produce free radicals"
We should destroy the sun in the ultimate battle against terrorism!
Seriously though, the odds of a 2k$ camera being instrumental in preventing a terrorist attack are less big than the odds of Barack Obama coming out of the closet as not being the first black president, but also the first transgender president.

Also, Hunter, the camera you linked has IR vision - think the resolution won't match up to 1080p?

Also, isn't this what you're looking for?

Im glad you made it out of that alright Hunter, I was in a collision working for Frito Lay along time ago.  They made me pee in a cup.  Kishii you brought back memories for me, I used to live on I-75 in northern Ky in Grant County.  I sure was glad when they laid down salt, I still was freaked out being from California and all where we aint got that kind o weather.

Bump

This that season again, which I'm glad to be skipping this time around.

I'd advise any driver to get a dash cam, especially for winter Smiley
