Would it be possible to put another item on the Queen that could be purchased by toons that are not working on anything ultimate?

Not a bad idea, would suggest maybe making them be no trade and mini versions as to not flood the market, maybe 250-500 AA for 30 berries or something.  This makes a place to spend them yet doesn't create and real issues with the economy or make it overly advantageous to farm the berries for AA.

I would disagree.   AA crystals are too easy to get as it is.   If anything, these crystals should be removed from the game as it makes xp too easy to get.    Same with the mask.
