I myself have always avoided stacking multiple proc types on certain classes, pallies for instance ( i don't even use life tap aug ) Reason for this is, I found I'm not able to proc my 3.0's built in proc.  Is it true that you can only proc one time per swing- i.e i dbl attack- 2x chances to proc.
Warriors are hard to tell with the cyclone blade, flurries , 3x swings and such.
Any dev's have some insight on this? I'll try and parse it and see the difference.

warrior can proc 2x on one hit. on low level mobs i have missed yet proced twice and killed the mob. pally get self proc buff that doesn't seem to interfere with epic proc.

I'm pretty sure I've seen both Pious Fury and the Pally epic proc on the same swing but haven't explicitly parsed for it.

I'm also pretty sure that the monk 1.5 clicky proc and a built-in weapon proc are happening on the same swing too.  That should be pretty easy to parse since the clicky proc is quite spammy.

Those of you talking about swings, keep in mind a swing usually consists of 3 or more attacks depending on delay.

also note: you don't have to land the hit in order to proc, so far with testing, i have yet to proc more than I swing. I've never proc'd multiple times per swing. I've tested with the paladin 3.0, and used the self buff, Pious Fury. maximum 2x procs per round of combat w/ 1 hander.

Looking at the code for the emu, my interpretation is that it works like this:

Finishing Blow ends the attack before the procs are checked.
Ripostes don't proc.

The weapon proc is possible every attack.
Up to 4 spell procs are possible every attack.
Up to 5 augment procs are possible each attack.

The odds of all of them going off in one attack is probably really low, but having 2 go off in the same attack doesn't seem far-fetched.  It's also possible I fail at reading code, but I don't see anything explicit that blocks more than 1 from happening on the same attack.
