Whenever I start another session of EQ to run my alts, my previous screen turns black, and I have to do "alt-enter" in order to see my character again.  But many times, having to do alt-enter will end up booting my character.  I am usually able to get up to 2 boxes no problem, but after 3, doing "alt-enter" always boots at least 1 of my characters.

How do I deal with this problem? I would like to start boxing up to 6.

This could happen if everquest is set to start in fullscreen. Some GF's gets confused when you go back to desktop from fullscreen in a game.

Try to rightclick everquest shortcut, properties - set Run: Normal Window
