Screenshot of the RAM usage during 500 users online tonight. I guess we could up it to 12 GB easy. Not sure if that'll fix anything. So far rebooting the whole PC seems to have helped.

Some more RAM would probably help a bit or at least give a little more headroom if there's a spike somewhere.

There's no Free memory which is not necessarily a concern, since the available is what's important, but it does show that all of the physical memory is being used for something.  Adding more would give Windows some breathing room to cache more if it wanted to.

It also looks like swap usage may be high if you look at the Commit number of 14/16.  Again, not necessarily a problem since many programs, including Windows, can have high usage of the swap file just because of the way they allocate virtual address space or they just load a lot of data that they don't use very often.

If you do increase the RAM you'll probably want to bump the swap file size up a bit too.  If you're not using a fixed size file you might consider changing to one.  Modern versions of Windows are much better at handling the dynamic file, but fixed is still more efficient.

Well i know this has nothing to do with the server crashing, but just out of curiosity do you have a bandwidth monitor? id like to see how much were using during 500+ players.

Is this Server 2008 Standard or R2 or what?

Is there a problem with memory leaks? Is your server that is running EZ also running SQL?

I think simply adding memory will only extend how long it takes before the server crashes not actually fix the problem.
