BOT Elemental Quest - Not Zoning.

I did a search for this, but only came up with one answer...which I am confused on.

I just hit 65, and wanted to go to BoT to do the quest. I cannot zone in though. Just like the other person who posted the same question in these forums, the NPC says goodbye to me, but I do not go anywhere.

Is there a level 70 min entrance level for this? If so, why is the NPC marked as "65-70" ?
Or, are there components, etc that are needed to enter?
I think I remember a quest to get into BoT from back in the day, but I thought if you were over 61(?) you could just zone in...

Any help is appreciated.

You can enter BoT at 60. The problem with BoT entry is usually related to the client you are using. Titanium / SoD / SoF have no problems, but I have heard some of the later clients do.

I was afraid of that. Is this confirmed?
I am using Underfoot (Steam DL). That will suck if it is not accessible... Embarrassed

The Steam Underfoot distribution is missing several files and needs to be fixed before you can use it.

Once you have the proper zone files you can zone in just fine.

Hi lerxst, and thanks for the reply! Yes, right after I posted this thread, I saw the "Underfoot Client" thread, and gathered that there was some patching to be done. Your link to the Wiki helped a lot too!
All is good after patching/copying.
