why some people have more luck than others, and others again around pitch more than the rest?

FS I brought a very fresh and full of friends a FS VI conjured it. then acted on my Zerker!
everything adjusted the slot they also depend on the lands.
and then it's just gone.
thus the last farm actions were simply for nothing!

what he said is he created a FS6 aug and put it on his Zerker's epic. Next thing we know, he doesn't have the FS6 aug anymore.

Seems the aug just disappeared.

I have noticed if I encounter lag when I am inserting augs sometimes the auged item does not show up right away on my cursor. If I place the item in a bag during this time or click on anything else the whole thing disappears. What is odd is that the aug disappeared and not the weapon itself. Sorry for your loss, I am sure it is frustrating as hell.

Some tips for those looking to avoid situations like this. I am sure some if not all of these tips are already on the forums, probably multiple times but a little more can't help.

  • Don't do combines or augs in public instances, go to a private instance and do it.
  • Private instances can get laggy too. The safest option is to go to a solo instance.
  • Don't aug or combine when more than 350 toons are on line.
  • If you really must aug or combine when it is laggy take your time! Give it a few seconds after each combine or aug and make sure you have your item on your cursur.
  • When putting the item back into inventory make sure you are putting it into an empty slot and not replacing another item.

I have lost items when inserting strike augs before. Hunter was kind enough to restore the item when I sent him an email including the full details of the event. It can't hurt to ask politely.
