All, we will be making a huge push to get EZ all on the RoF2 client, there are HUGE client game stability reasons for this as well as features and overall performance.

Look at downloading the F2P client from steam in the meantime. (No does not mean that it currently works with the server, but we have it mostly playable atm)

I still have the orig lanuch RoF client (2012), and that loads in ok, but the new client gets stuck on black screen after the server select screen
Dont know if its just me. =( - I know its still work in progress, so sticking with UF for now

Also noticed on orig client, item links have same issue at Titanium, Begining being cut off the link, prob client incompatability with current server

Same issue for me, added uf missing files to be safe, server files, spell files and eqhost. black screen after selecting server.

As Akka said, our server is not working with it yet.  I got the same result... Try loading up an account and make a toon on stormhaven... worked for me.... and.... i clicked a n00b item from inside a bag /tasty. Sadly, you also get the Station Cash Icon to remind you have how much SOE started to suck Tongue

EQ Button without SC Icon =), works with 2012 version, not tried on V2 client

I'm absolutely amazed at the amount of people who didn't read, this is NOT working with the server currently.

The advice is to download the client and get it ready for when we officially launch the client on the server. When it is officially launched it will be on the front page with appropriate details.

We don't know when Steam will change the F2P client download, so the reason for downloading it ahead of time is also mentioned in what Trevius posted.

When this does go live. Will we have to copy over any zone files or just the EZ server files ? UF you had to do that crap from SOD into it etc.
