As I see these outrageous #s beside your Ring of Ages ranks, I have to ask - where are you grinding? 

I've just returned from 3 years away and need to beef up my crew before heading into T5.  Mostly t4 geared with 4.0s, but I'd like to get some rings going now that we don't have to level 1-70 for them anymore!

Any advice?

Just comes with time.  I can get a few 1000 AA a night working on progression.

Yep, just put your head down, bulldoze along and the AA's will come.   Work on your UCs and resists in TOFS too. 

I don't know how it is today, but T-5 was not kind back in the day if you had melee toons without UC.

Yeah I got chased out of t5 with my tail between my legs.  Been doing UCs in HoH.  Should I migrate my group to ToFS?  I haven't visited there on EZ.

Resists are important.

Should farm v1 charm upgrades on floor 2, best rate on server i believe.

If you can handle floor 3, it's a fairly steep jump up both types drop there.

Could try the t2-t4 daily for essences for augs, or t5 daily for bosses since it's just a mini t5. Each boss also drops a universal charm upgrade.

When i hit t5 i had to roll more toons might have been adverted with better augs.

I was running war,shm,pal, zrk,zrk, bard  no true Single Target DPS and that hurt when breaking into t5.

I now run
G1 war, shm,mage,enc,bard,pal
G2 pal,monk,ranger,zerk,zerk,druid

I have had no problem breaking into new content since, currently breaking into t8, and still am missing many level 9 augs sadly.

the miner has a new prompt about hidden dungeons.

Dranik is t2-t4, might be hard for on tier but worth trying.  Has excellent essence drop rates.

T5 is the other one, has 3-5 randomly chosen bosses, counts toward your task and probably about 75 trash mobs.

Rainbow Crystals can drop in many zones. They are turned into the Keeper of the Ages to gain AA's.

Alternately, you can turn in two Minor Rainbow Crystals into the Miner (in Nexus or Stonehive) for a chance to make a Greater Rainbow Crystal - or two Lesser Rainbow Crystals for a chance to make a Major Rainbow Crystal. The chance of success is approximately 33%. If you fail the turnin, you receive one of the two original crystals back.

    Minor Rainbow Crystal 2,000 AA's
    Lesser Rainbow Crystal 4,000 AA's
    Greater Rainbow Crystal 10,000 AA's
    Major Rainbow Crystal 20,000 AA's

Zones

Rainbow crystals can drop in the following zones:

    Airplane
    Abyss
