GOD.

Every sodding 5 minutes Vista declares "BA-BUM!" and claims that USB device has just been removed! Internet connection is hereby gone and done with! Packet loss ensues! HORRAY! You hafta unplug the stupid thing (FOR REAL NOW HEY HEY HEY) and connect again! /Q! Reconnect! Log in again!

This is MOST ENTERTAINING when you're trying to sodding duo Balrog at ldon6 with your gimp 2.5 warrior and 1.5 paper-shaman, neither past LDoN gear! Every time I manage to clear the Balroom I LD again, have to relog, the room is repopped, I fight for my life to handle the situation, them AGAIN I LD SOON AS I'M DONE. REPEAT ENTIRE PROCESS.

SO after this happens about 8 times, just before Balrog repops, I manage to get back in once more to try and engage him... AND GUESS WOT? WARRIOR CRASHES BETWEEN CHARA SELECTION AND ENTERING WORLD! OH THE JOY. PAPER SHAMAN ENTERS THE ROOM ALONE AND DOWN TO BIND POINT WITH YOU. IT'S ESPECIALLY BLEEDING HELPFUL WHEN THE PROCESS OF LOADING THE ZONE INCLUDES YOUR CHARACTER ENTERING THE AREA FOR 10SECONDS BEFORE YOU ACTUALLY GET TO CONTROL HIM, SO BY THE RATE YOU ACTUALLY DO MANAGE TO TRY TO FIGHT SOMETHING, YOU'RE ALREADY AT 5% HEALTH AND GOT 3 MOBS WAILING ON YOU.

SERIOUSLY. GOD EFFING DAMNIT.

And just for the record, last night on p99 I was at PoHate. Umbral Plate Bracer drops which my shadow knight coulda used. GUESS WOT HAPPENS? BLAM INTERNET CONNECTION LOST. BLAM ANOTHER SK HAD TO LOOT IT SINCE IT WAS GONNA ROT WHILE I WRESTLE WITH THIS LOAD OF GARBAGE.

Meh, this is nothing as bad as the one I had before. Did the same garbage of shutting off randomly, but also every 2nd or 3rd zone I entered I had some 5000ms and had to relog to fix it. Boxing = impossible wiht that, since Vista demand I shut down all EQ clients or else they get bugged out when trying to get one logged in again.
