RETURN TO MINES OF GLOOMINGDEEP

HI THERE,

I'm new on the EZ-SERVER. I've started before on another server where no other people was playing (I figered it only out later...

Now I want to start in GLOOMINGDEEP, so called the tutorial of EQ, but when I create here an new char, it's launched diretely in the 'Surefall glade'.

Can anyone help me how starting in the mines of gloomingdeep ?

In order to make a good impression as a new user you probably shouldn't post the same thing in two threads.

As far as I know there isn't a way to start in the tutorial zone here. There is a complete set of leveling zones set up for a new user here. To start, talk to the gnome on the docks near the epic vendor. While you're there, you may as well pick up whichever epic is appropriate for your class from the epic vendor, and whatever other supplies you need from the newbie vendor next to him.

Explore Surefall a bit. There is a NPC to help you with scribing spells and disciplines, a buff bot, and teleporter NPCs to help you get around. You might want to kill a few bears or fish in Surefall before you set out to the first quest zone. They are a great source of gear and experience when you're just starting.

LOL if you want to do the tutorial you can do it on another server like PEQ... it's nothing special though.

Hi there,

In the meantime I talked to the gnome to do a first mission and was teleported to the field of bone 'killing fields). I should find an item for the gnome, but I searched everywhere and can't find anything !! Can you help me ? And when I found the item, how can I go back to Surefall glade ?

It drops off the Giant Scorpians if i recall correctly.

To get back click on the charm that started out in your inventory.

It's down until 3am PST / 6am EST, when the server will auto reboot and be playable again (at about 3:10 am PST)

Man this thread is both epic and perfect.
