Why do necros not get a DoT focus? As it stands all other classes get some type of spell focus be it heal and or Dot focus. Im referring to the lvl 1 spell focus btw.

I'm pretty sure Necros do get 'Focus of Healing'.

A DoT focus and a DD focus would be nice.

What DoT focus are you referring to? I hope I didnt miss something...

Shamans get a dot focus spell (similar to the healing focus spell) at level 1. I too found it odd that necros do not, since that's such a significant portion of their damage output (read "all their damage output").
