I currently play a war/cle/pal/beast/mag/nec.  I have a second cleric, bard, ranger, enc, shaman, druid that I can toss into a second group for hard fights.

What order should I get 3.5s for my chars?  I know from everything I have read that they are not much of an upgrade but anything helps I suppose.

A 3.5 on the warrior will net you a second re-usable stonewall clicky which will increase your warriors survivabillity quite a bit.

A 3.5 on the paladin will increase his dps a little, has a bigger proc (which increases his group proc heal quite a bit, and adds a separate LOH clicky on the epic (usable on target, not just the paladin) which will also help in big fights to fight variance when Avatars and bosses get in some randomly nasty melee rounds.

A 3.5 on your pet casters will add a large number of hit points to your mage/necro pets, allowing them to survive rampage and mob hits in T2+ content quite a bit better (in group setting, they still aren't going to even be sooing something as non-menacing as T1 trash dragons without a struggle).

Someone else can fill you in on Beastlord and Cleric. I know the cleric is nice, but i don't main one so i couldn't say how it compares to a war/pally/mage epic 3.5.

Thanks for the info.  I was unaware that the clicks like stonewall were on 3.5s.  I thought it was only 4.0s.

Are you sure? with a 41 oracle, i didn't hit 42421-56k range until he bumped up to a 3.5..

I mean, i could be off base here, but pretty sure the epic proc jumped from like 4-6k, which in turn boosted my healing. I know the 3.5 on the paladin made T2 farming world's easier.. and my pally got his 3.5 even before my warrior got her first. Granted getting the oracle to 41 was an incredible boost that i got near the same time frame, which is the main reason i can't recall exact figures.

Either way, fighting t3 bosses / Shadow type encounters, the LOH clicky is a pretty awesome bailout button when the warrior is between stonewalls and takes a couple ugly combat rounds in a row.

I'm not sure if it is still this way, but the Paladin 3.5 1h version used to still have the 3.0 procs.  The 3.5 2h was correct with 3.5 procs which were basically the equivalent of an extra level of Oracle charm.

Ya my 3.5 was always a 2hs.. that would explain it. I definitely saw a proc boost on the 3.5.

Don't get the 3.5 or 4.0 cleric its a waste of pixelation.  The pets yeah umm theres a reason why we don't play pet classes in T3 and T4 on EZ.  If you dont like it play something else or play somewhere else.  Tongue

Well, the 3.5+ pets don't even approach the dps of a dps melee with augs, of course. I at least got the 3.5 on my mage so i felt it was contributing *something* besides being a cohbot. And lets face it, it isn't really going out of your way much to put a 3.5 on a pet caster. 4.0, well that's another story Smiley

How about beastlord?
Thanks to Traya I have the T4 spell which is pretty beastly spell, wondering if I should slap a 3.5 on that beastlord now

Traya is a fiend and a coward.

You'd go from having a 50k hp pet to a 200k hp pet with some nasty dps.

Pretty much what we did, we've done every toon possible by just dragging them around while grinding for stones for the never ending T3/T4 farming for those eluding plate molds that never drop >.<
