i cant not create a char i get to char select screen and cant click on anything but it doesnt crash or freeze just doesnt do anything

For stuff like this you really need to provide more information.
EQ Client used?
Did you patch to live on this?
etc, more information is better. Anything you can think of no matter how silly it might seem.

Also, what race character are you trying to create. Have you dl'd the spell file. Do you normally play on another server and have any of their custom files.

well i play eq all the time so its the latest i dont have HoT so its still the underfoot edition i am running vista i have done all the extra downloads and things like that i am just still confused really

You need a copy of just the Titanium edition or SoD, whichever, that is not updated to live. You can make two seperate ones for emu and live and play both back and fourth if you want to do it that way. Hope that clarifies it for you some.

Underfoot is fairly well supported now, but you should probably read up on it at the emu site. It's a bit incomplete so it seems the best option is to use some zone files from SoD to fix it.
