I was wondering if there was anyway to make the magic box similar to the jewelry kits and forges in crafting where you can search for a recipe, such as orange magical stone, and then click combine and it pulls them from inventory and places product in inventory.
Not sure if this is at all possible i just know alot of people hate all the stone combining and this seems like a relatively easy fix if the magic box can have a similar function as the other crafting containers.

That seems okay If say you wanted to make a Cyan or Purple quicklike but its not even over 15 combines to make a purple probably quite simple really.

i wish you could put stack of 100 reds in and get 50 orange...and work it down like that since its always red + red....orange + orange
would make it much easier just don't know if it's doable at all

for goodjackie13: That idea has been brought up before and dismissed as EQ cannot recognize stacks in combination containers.
The best that could be done is allowing a recipe that takes 10 reds and returns 5 orange, etc. Not much but it saves 4 clicks per 5 combines =)

Been out for awhile for a job.. but here is my best idea I can conjure up.
Treat the red stones like LDON credits and cards that sell back to a "vendor" set up at the entrance. "Sell" all your reds for credits that will credit your account, then have purchable Cyan stones and up. Zero combines and the system is already implemented at the LDON level. Not sure how hard this would be to do for HoH stones but its an idea.

Maybe put it in the jewel crafting bag window. I'll see if I can do that some time. That way its 1-click combine.

I'd have to make a new combine where 1 Purple = 2 Blue

Appreciate it.

Here is a new idea... combine them as you go You get 1 per kill basically and about 8 on shadow, if you wait till you get 100 stones then ya its alot of clicking.
/rant off
More important things that need fixing than lazy click people

That's what I do. Aname does all the collecting (because SOMEONE thinks a ranger is not that important on the big fights and can show up late!) and I do combines while fighting Shadow or running behind the Blueberry (Terminus). PS. When I say someone - think Fugitive!

That's what I did, too. That's why I have 5 cyans, thinking I'd be able to pop t3, t4 or MCP. Now I'm stuck with either t4 or MCP, but I can pop twice as many, so I guess all's well.

You probably already know this, but you can hold control when you click a stack to pick up a single item. It's still a lot of clicking, but no manual splitting necessary.

Plenty of time to hit combine if you open up a magic box during avatar fights.

when avatars die in about 30 seconds or less, not much time to combine them during the fight, now Shadow 6-10min fight yeah can combine them then
