12k mana makes sense to me but it really should be a /tgb buff.

Players asked for it to be a group buff, so I did and increased mana cost as well.

Yeah, if you cast it now on any other toon you get the message, target is too far away. If it is /tgb'able then I can understand the 12k mana price tag. That would make it so you cant have one shaman servicing a while entire raid.

Shamans don't go out of mana.
Wasn't their a command to buff other group? Unless the distance field is '0' in the spell, then I might be able to adjust that. For now I have no problem with someone buffing their own group. One shaman per group is acceptable. Does this spell work with MGB?

MGB does work with it. I think /tgb on might work with it but the distance must be set to 0 on it because targeting anyone besides yourself gives the "too far" message whether they are in your group or not.

I don't know much about spell editing but it seems like "Self-based AoE" is the problem.

Thanks for the info. I updated it directly in the database without a spell editor.
targettype = 41
aoerange = 100
See if that works after reboot.
No spell file has been uploaded yet for download. Calculations are done server side anyways.

This spell is now totally worth the 1 mill. The only problem I can see with it is that pets don't get as much benefit because they can't use sorc charms to up the damage.
I wonder if Hunter would consider a pet only buff that increased spell damage similar to sorc charms.
