Pet parses 16/02/2011 (Yes! EURO TIME!)

Hey Guys,

I just did some parsage on pet classes 4.0 pets.
Enchanter 4.0 still tops the list with the leet 9k dps!
Mage 4.0 is second in line with 25k dps
And necro 4.0... well... Uh... 50k dps. Of which 40k dps is lifetaps.
(These are all charmless, augless pets, with all applicable self buffs and enchanter 3.0 haste)

I dont have access to beastlord 4.0, but I've been having great fun asking stuck up 4.0 "I R SO LEET" warriors to duel my pet. Killed a 120k war in 10 seconds flat.

The real question I wonder is now, does oracle affect the heal of the pet? If so, that needs to change, because that would mean Necro 4.0 with UC or 50 oracle could solo t3/t4 content (pet proccing a 150k heal basically every 0.75 seconds, going on the 40k/25k ratio).

And considering you had 4.0 pet, you should've by all logic dueled a T3/T4'd war with 4.0s and fancies as well!

He had his 4.0's I think. No RoA or sucky RoA though, and dont think much t3 or t4 gear.

The 120k was more of a ballpark figure, from what I assume he at least had, being full t2 and whatnot.

Also - Soloing HoH is great! Pet killed avatar of earth and two ents all by himself. Never needed a heal. Fight took about a minute, I think.

Invincible lifetap crooks suck anyways. Slowly losing to a freshly 3.0'd SK in a duel as T2+ warr sucks. ><

Curious as heck about the BL pet! The new proc is dandy.

No, charms have no effect on pets. The pet itself is healing itself, not you healing it. Also, Necros are intended to be able to solo their own stuff throughout the game. The DPS they pull is going to be less than a regular DPS class by a good margin, so putting one in the group especially since their group functionality now is absolutely zero outside of DPS means they need huge boosts for soloing, which is what they got.

Remember focus of healing actually increasing the healing I received from the pally epic that I gave my pet in the early levels, so I'm not convinced.
