Over a month ago Hunter said he would look into this, and every day I look to the boards  praying to see an update that PoAir is in the works for a fix. And yet every day I log in and work on my T4 items only slowed by losing spawns and time rebooting.
This is a subject I will not drop until I am told that there will be no fix or that it will be worked on. There have been other threaded started, I'm hoping Hunter takes this into consideration and responds to what the players are asking

Treading on thin ice it seems we are alot.... well at least me. But i back any thread about air crashing. I'm not so sure what Hunter's count would be cause ive done alot (not popping stones), but to date ive completed 57 4.0's whiped 5 times, and had air crash on it at least 30+....the very most recent being when mcp was dead, i told the person to hurry and loot, and air crashed. He lost his book, and we had to laod up and do it again.

I got a pm recently from someone saying they thought maybe it was mq2 scripts causing the crash, sounds good to me too cept one thing... hard for most to believe but aside from having my tons atk the mcp, i do the enntire fight tabbing to every toon. no scripts. jsut old fashioned tab cleric di tab dps atk tab shd cast spells spam oom tab tank aggro agrro.

I have also heard people not crashing ever, that do use scripts, so id have to respectfully post it is not MQ2 and rather something in the coding of the zone itself. I still say imbed 4 tikis into overthere or someplace like it, make it guild instance avail. spread the tikis out by good range, and make the bosses pop on tiki, pod never crashes, has tiki's and has trees lag city dragons all over and u can box 10+ and not crash the zone... its the zone im very sorry.

I'll say this about PoA, I have never crashed PoA a single time when I am the only person in the zone. I've only had it crash on me when playing with others, and even then extremely rarely. I've killed the mcp more times than I can track, let alone t3 or t4. I do however tend to play in low population hours not heavy population times.

I do not run custom ini files or custom graphics fixes, or stripped down world files etc... I run stripped down titanium clients, I run them at low res, I run 6 on each computer (when I was running 12) and then 6 on 1 machine when I cut to 6 or fewer.

I'm not convinced it is the zone given that.

That's just my opinion and personal experience however.

Crashed on me in the middle of my 4th boss or so (about an hour/hour+half including breaks)  It was just me alone (5 toons) in a guild instance, that I had just created before going there.  I don't use mq2 scripts (just map and /stick).

Trust me if they knew what was causing it AND how to fix it they would.  If you have information that could help, please pass it along, otherwise complaining about it doesn't help very much.

A great point was brought up, and im going to look into it myself. My toons are strong enough to sit every fight afk without my having to watch them. I load my mq2 its a sod version from 2004. But other then the basics, its not used during the fight. However it was brought to my attention, that possibly because my version has the ability to do other things, it could be set up wrong.

I am going to farm tonight in an instance, not loading mq2 at all, and farm till my gems are gone and see how it does. If I don't get a crash at all in 3-4hrs, then i would have to vote that it is the compile in mq2.

We will see, and if it is, YOU person that chatted me, is gonna get a big ol kiss =)

Can you try it with titanium, I'd be curious if it still happens. No alterations to global files etc... As I said I've never crashed it when by myself but only run titanium

This has been a topic many times here is some of my testing with and without mq2 without messing with global with messing the global different op systems different clients

I can get crashes running vanilla 6 or 12 on same machine..
I can get crashes running 6 or 12 with isboxxer
I can get crashes with a default Global file
I can get crashes with a skinny Global file
I can get crashes using 2 machines with 6 on each.

The bottom line is the crashes happen..fresh zone.. 4-5 mobs in.. crashes happen with or with out 3rd party programs..

I know you have had good luck...
I've had decent nights then I have nights I crash on ever mob I pop.. with or without vanilla or mq/isbox

The good thing is hunter has made some adjustments I can get up to around 15 to 20 plus before crash most of the time. There are a lot of informations on the poa posts that were made in nov and dec... check them out..

But I do agree try another zone and put all the spells back in too including t4 shout kills

See i brought this up last night in convo with Kenshou Crab. I use Sod, he uses Sod, although i hear others using Sod, maybe they arent farming the # we are. I ran it in SoD with no mq2, was able to do 3 bosses before crash. I really started to think it was MQ2 precomile. But given i crashed not using it, im starting to wonder if this is an inherint SoD client based issue. Because the bulk of us that do crash can actually watch and witness the precursor to the crash. We see the same choppy lag out and restart battle again issue, moments before it poof's.

A legitimate poll of users using Titanium vs Sod, in air, with or without crashes would be a good suggestion at this point.

Maybe its time to start asking what buffs/enchantments/item clicks people are running.
Try to see if what Crab is doing and not crashing is different from people who are having crash issues. I remember awhile back when pally click could crash certain zones for some people.

Ive already done that mofo ..both clients without any buffs will still crash 6 or 12. On both xp and 7...

But like I said with the changes hunter made a few months ago helped al lot

Ah, wasn't sure Fugi. Since I don't know what has changed t3+ spell/buff (if any) since you posted all that original testing info.

Most of the crashes have  went away since he removed the spell sets from 4 and 3... still get some random crashes without a precursor on my end just wham crash...

I do know I have all my toons cept my main filtered everything out so my client doesn't process it on screen... that seems to help a lot..

He should just give it a run in another zone when he gets some free time.. I'm not asking him to rush and do it do it do it.. just whenever..

Good things as of now..

Stone cost reduction that has been put into place..

Spells gone (seems to help somewhat with crashes)

Instances are not together anymore like when public air would lock you out of your own guild instance spawning..

I would like to run another 100 t3 100 t4 through soon anyway just to get some more data as of today... maybe Ill work on that this week..

Fugitive

I guess another good thing is being 100% done with that damn zone is good too.. but if Hunter wants some testing done I'll run it through again

And hell Protest where is my crazy Rage sig?
