Messed around with it last night. Yes, you won't be weaving 5 songs but you will adding 4 DOTS on the mob. I was weaving 3 song consistently. I can see this would be beneficial in long fights say T3/T4 fights. You are adding the DPS of the DOTs, along with attack damage with Procs. I guess if you put proper Songs in certain slots you can still benefit from the Hast songs.
I guess I am just asking if we are exploring all option when we considering DPS per class or are we just judging DPS on a Hack and Slash method?
Do Sorc help Bard DOTs and DD?

The sorc does not add to damage. Best I was able to get on any dot was 130. Best dd was 2457. Takes a tick for it to land. 2457/6 = 409 dps. Even if you got 10 dots to land that would still only be about 620 dps or so. Like I said, not measurable when hack and slash will get you up to 60k dps. Even without a ultimate charm you are going to get a hell of a lot more dps from swords and procs alone. Best to throw on some haste and some regen and maybe a ds.

I am getting 1240 per tick DOT with crit 2480. I haven't got the T3/t4 songs yet. I think on of them is DOT spell. This is on MCP last night.
What is the Formula for determining DPS rate?

a tic is 6 seconds. Dots land once per tic. Even with the crit, 2480 = 413 dps. Barely anything compared to melee and proc dps.

I feel like DPS would be damage produced per unit second.
1240 per tick at 1 tick per 6 seconds leads me to think the non-crit dps is 1240/6 for this song. Thoughts?

Does Ancient Call of Power really add 30% spell damage to the whole group?
So my 1.5 wizard could nuke for 6k + 30% = ~8k?

Yes, I am pretty sure, damn near positive it does add 30% to spell damage. Unfortunately it does not add anything to proc damage.

bard 30% dmg song doesn't effect augment procs but their 3.0 clicky does, and effects everything from aug procs to proc heals. Its a noticeably high amount of crit too at that so it scales very well depending on your augs/gear...helped me a lot on healing when i was breaking into t3/t4.
100% uptime too, although a bit of high maintance but nothing a macro can't solve.

The 30% damage song isn't adding 30% to my wizard nukes. They're going from 6100 to 7300, a gain of about 20%. It's probably in the way damage bonuses don't stack completely. I also have the staff that adds 50% damage, etc.
