You can get the bricks you need in Plane of Knowledge, and then use "Enchant Steel" to create the bars used in the recipe. I can't remember which vendor it was from... one of these 3 races though Iksar, Dwarf, or Barbarian. I'm kinda leaning toward Iksar but I spent a lot of time making other metal bits in their shop making Gothic Steel Plate, so I can't remember for sure.
I do remember for sure though that the ore was bought in Plane of Knowledge, and then enchanted by my Enchanter. They also don't stack, so make sure you have a lot of bag space (^_~).

Seems like a good time to ask this, as opposed to a new thread:
Where can I find information on crafting the RoA armor? I've heard several times that it's horribly expensive and time consuming, but that makes me want to do it!

You have to join the crafters guild. In the Crafters Guild (not casters guild) there is a merchant. Hail him and he gives you prompts for recipes. He also sells the required items. The expense for each armor gets into the millions.

You don't have to make the highest tier for it to be useful for RoA. Even the first tier stuff is better than Dulak armor (highest level drop armor in the game without a level requirement). Seems to me you can make a whole first level set for under 500k assuming you farm your own components.
