Anyway to bring back the AFK popup please? We all get busy with RL stuff and leave a group online which adds up quickly. During the peak hours the server is seeing number north of 450 which cause the server to lag due to the lack of bandwidth (speculation).
We all know bandwidth doesn't come cheap and one easy way to remove the excess is to get rid of characters that are not actively used.
Just my 2 cent.

If it was for a longer period of time it wouldn't be so bad. I hated going to rummage for a snack, come back 15 minutes later and all my toons are offline. Then when you try to log back in, you get the black "you have been disconnected" screen which can take 5-10 minutes to go away. Maybe if it was for an hour it would work better. Would clean up people who are not active, but still give the rest of us time to take care of quick business without getting booted. Clearing out 20 inactive toons really isn't going to make the sever lag less, but will frustrate a lot of people.

15 mins is enough just log back in, it has happened to me I to am a perp of this.. , you get the black "you have been disconnected" screen which can take 5-10 minutes to go away.
Dude.. ctrl alt delete and end that process and its instant.. really you wait until that screen goes away come on... 15 mins is enough really, just log back in when get disconnected.. |

30min max gives plenty of time to get back from snack-questing I agree, 30 minutes max. If you're not back by then there's a good chance it will be much longer than another 5-10 minutes. |

I'll chime in for 30 min max.
If possible, I would rather not see the message pop up in instances unless all toons in the zone get it at the same time. I sometimes forget about the alt I am charm farming for until one drops.
