Would war/pal/pal/pal/sk/mnk be effective? Or replace the sk with another monk? Sk is fully t2 with 4.0, would just save me from leveling/gearing another monk if the dps difference wasnt toooo crazy without augs.

Would 3 pally epics be enough to keep the warrior healed later in the game? Like t4/t5ish?

You dont need War AND sk in the same group.  They serve the same purpose and neither one can be considered a viable dps to put in that spot.

2 tanks help later in the game. Can't really do MCP without two tanks, for example, (although one of your pallies could be made an offtank.)

You need to have a higher post count like Xiggie or Fugitive.

Will 3 pally epics be enough healing for t4/5?

I run pal/cleric and it's enough. 3 pals should be over-heal. I would recommend a cleric over one of the paladins for the simple fact that divine intervention and the instant group heal comes in handy, and 3.5+ is a hammer so they proc group heals, too.

Reason i was thinkibg 2-3 pals over a cleric is because of simplicity. I wouldnt have to tab through 6 boxes looking for the cler or anything just auto attack and watch

Gearing 3 Paladins is going to slow you down. While you're rotting most of your drops waiting on those final Pally pieces, you could have been in the next tier.

My opinion: Drop SK for more DPS, like a Rogue or Ranger so you're taking advantage of the chain drops. Make one of your Pally slots a Cleric. I would go further and drop another Pally for more DPS once your Cleric is 3.5+.

Pally/Cleric is doing fine for me in T5, though they do both have their UC.

Play what you want, but gearing 3 paladins? ugh.

I would say 2 pallys and a cleric, drop the sk for whatever dps you want in there. Having done both T5 and T6 I would not want to do either without both of my pallys and my cleric.

Have you considered pet classes for DPS? You're going to need a lot of augs and UC to max out an all melee group...

Do pets do enough dps to run something like war/pal/pal/pal(or cler)/nec/mag? use pets instead of mnk/ranger? I have a 4.0 nec and 4.0 mag so that would save some fg kits and gear farming lol

Well if you already have them, throw them in and see how they work for you! Smiley Certainly they'll do more dps than melees that don't have augs or UCs/sorcs.

I haven't parsed it, but iirc 4.0 pets do something like 30k dps. I'm sure it's on the forums somewhere...

You could also consider using them until you get enough augs, and then swapping them out.

I have done it with and without pets. When you are running 6 toons pets become a lot to manage. I did use pets though till I got enough stuff for my monks to surpass their dps. Keeping pets on the backside of the mobs can be a real pain in the ass though.

I 6-box the following combination: War, Pal, Necro, Mage +2, depending on situation. I add something out of the pool of: cleric, monk, bard, shaman, enchenter, another mage, another necro, ranger.

Even though, lately, in most cases, it was cleric and shaman all the way to complete the 6.
