We'll get used to it. I guess the issue is not about dying, but about having less kills to do, which was never intended. One thing that was intended though was to transfer most or all of the kill type quest, or any type of quest, into a Task Window Quest.
You'll be fine. I'm sure some things will be easier such as not needing to bag and combine 10 items on 6 toons. Also you could get everyone in the zone credit rather than just 1 group since the credit for the kill is rewarded via db task rather than perl quest code, so just like Abyss you could have a raid get credit I think.
I realize players figured a way to get X number of fewer kills, sorry to rain on the parade.
