Hello all

This is something I've been thinking of suggesting for some time. I'm unable to think of ways in which this could be used to exploit, especially with a reasonable recast timer.

I think this would be a very handy item for players as well as the server. This would eliminate the need to double zone for all of the zones without their own teleporter rings. Would save players a lot of time and take a decent load off the server.

I'm suggesting this now as I was hoping to start working on the kill quest soon. With 18 toons (why not rank the item on each of them?) I worry my incessant zoning will lag and eventually crash the nexus, not to mention the annoyance of constant /say spam as I zone. Some way to summon the universal teleporter would help eliminate these problems completely.

This actually does sound amazing... reduce the number of people traveling through Nexus or FG.

Only time you'd have to go to either is to grab the quest again.

Not gonna lie, as a recent member of Magister and as a friend of Blarr and others like him that run a whole group of toons+. I would agree to this suggestoin and say it would help the crashes in nexus that are prolly 75% of crashes on ez considering its the 'home zone' for most of us. FG would be second but honestly nexus crashes way to often... just my 2 cents

I always use the group teleport function for going to Anguish seems to work fine with multiboxing 12.

Leader of each party say "Anguish" rather than all 12 spamming Anguish

The server seems to process zone requests in the order they came in one at a time. Usually this is about 1 char per second up to 3 or 4 seconds maximum during typical prime time populations. This behavior is the same regardless of how I stagger the chars zoning requests, so I don't think there would be any problems from group TP.

I would say go for the easy way.  Just summon the universal teleporter that already exists.  No need to re-invent the wheel and make it a group port Smiley  Anything to save some valuable Hunter time

+100 on this idea, would make sceptre alittle more tolerable considering after one run or if someone else is doing it your gotta zone 3 times after making instance.
