When running 2 full groups I end up with some major lag.  My groups will attack a mob and its health will bounce all around, from 80% to 10% then 85% Then some of my toons will be looking at a corpse, but some will still be fighting. Then after a minute or so it will catchup and everything will be normal till the next mob.

What would cause this? Would this be a memory, graphics card, cpu, modem?

My Rig
AMD FX 8120 8 core overclocked to 4.0Ghz
GeForce GTX 560 Ti SuperClocked 1GB
8Gigs of ram
OCZ Vertex 3 SSD

In a way, yes. Your hardware is actually too good for the engine, and in some cases I'd bet thats causing an issue or two.

Are you running MQ2? Or straight boxing? And have you tried any of the fixes posted here regarding boxing?

Using ISboxer and MQ2
have been through tweaks and settings and have done almost all of the items except I only have 2 chars running stick figures.

Could a wireless modem be bottlenecking the data maybe? Not sure how much data EQ uses per toon.

I sometimes get this lag, usually when theres way to many ppl around me attacking. Like if we do a T6 raid with more then 2 rl ppl no matter how many toons we run.

Do you have all your settings for melee, spells, crits turned off or are you just using a chat filter? Chatfilter doesn't stop the traffic from coming, it just stops it from showing up. In your options under the filter settings turn everything off that you can except chats. Especially if you still have other hits on that one can be nasty. Same with pet hits if you are using pets.
