Set up Overthere as a PvP zone.

Once you zone in, you'll be flagged with a red name after 30 seconds. So you'll have 30 seconds to run n hide before players are allowed to attack you.

Zoning to any other zone will turn off your pvp flag if you have one.

There is a client graphic bug that will still show red name until you zone a 2nd time, but no worries, you are non-pvp in all zones except Overthere.

Planning to add stuff to pvp zones like loot off bosses to fight over.

The zone still needs tweak, such as turning off instances and CoH.

May wanna make some things neg 1K resist.....bard songs, of course....sunbeam for druids (though with Mq2 blind really wont do much). Darkness spells for SK and necros. Also may wanna consider making some item procs neg 1K resist.....kunzar kujuch, silken whip of ensnaring, willsapper, wavecrasher.....to name a few Cheesy Will post more as I think of em.

You won't be pvp enabled until after 30 seconds.

I've edited spell to have -1000 resist so pvp will be more interesting:

Blinding Luminance
Sunbeam
Snare
Ensnare
Clinging Darkness
Engulfing Darkness
Ensnaring Root
Engulfing Root
Root
Grasping Root
Legend of Crab Harmtouch
Gravity Flux

more to come.

Haven't decided yet on fear or charm.

Going to make an NPC in the zone maybe with 8 hour respawn that has 1 million platinum on it. So players can fight over it. Would probably have 1 Billion HP with 0 Regen and hit for only 1,000 dmg.

you've got at least 30 seconds before you get beaten up since that is how long the timer is set before you become killable

Anyone with a UC and Strike 6s+ is gonna one shot people, unless there is some special coding to reduce damage taken by like 75% or something haha

Nah people were surviving for a few rounds.
I managed to live through 1 Ninja9 proc but the fact that he was duel wielding got me Wink

Well, I do about 500k a swing with no crits, and only have 300k hp :/

If I remember correctly, pvp only takes 66% spell damage.

Need to come up with some cool pvp only gear that can be had in the pvp zone off the 1 Billion HP boss that spawns every 4 hrs.

Already created a 500k pp gem to be sold to vendor.

Maybe jewelry with T1/T2 stats + special worn/focus/click effects to help with pvp?

What clickie types would help pvp?

I think the -1000 spell resist change.is also effecting npc cast spells.  Things I once resisted in hoh are hitting and showing -1000
